It’s ok but trouble is it doesn’t stay warm for long 30 mins maw so I make a pot at 7:00 am and it’s stone by 08:23 so I’ve gone through coffee beans like knowbodys

Started off great the coffee was good strength when the indicator was on 3 bean strength but recently this is not the case, the coffee tastes weak even when we have grinded twice. Or used the grinded coffee it’s weak. So seems like the water is flowing quicker through the filter.
Coffee quality:
Weak / after a while.

This is far and away the most user-friendly coffee machine I have ever used. The features such as coffee strength, how fine to grind the coffee and auto program make this a dream. The grinder is effective and not as noisy as some, so you won’t wake up the entire household if you are up early. You can use ground coffee, but grinding beans fresh gives a superior result.
Its sleek and compact design fits neatly on my countertop without taking up too much space. The coffee pot and warming plate keep my coffee hot and ready to serve, a lifesaver during my busy mornings.
Overall, great small kitchen appliance for the price. I’ve been using this almost everyday for 2 months. It’s easy to clean and put together, too! I really love this coffee machine and am happy to have come across it. Highly recommend.

Out of the box it’s a bit frightening due to its size. But get past that it’s a great bit of kit. Have your coffee your way at your leisure. Freshly makes my coffee for when I come down in the morning. Simply load the grinder with about 170 g of your favourite coffee beans. Add water for as many cups you want I fill for 6 it gives me three mugs. Set the strength using the easy push button system set the clock to current time then set brew time and grind preference. Go to bed and voila when you wake up freshly brewed coffee which will keep warm for 30 minutes. You can also just add pre ground coffee to the re usable filter if you prefer. Very simple to use. I purchased it as grinding my own coffee and using a cafetière or my stove top percolator although brewed perfectly acceptable coffee it was becoming a bit messy. Coffee powder being dropped on the surfaces I was making a right mess. Oh did I say I do have a recent disability pretty much one arm following an accident so I was making a bit of a mess. This is preventing that and making great coffee too.
So downside. It is a bit big but not heavy. So if you have a small kitchen think hard about buying it. My kitchen is a good size and it brews on my island. I say brew as it doesn’t live there it gets put away in the utility room after breakfast leaving the island free for food prep my kitchen is busy. I’m at a loss why it is not able to take a 200g bag of coffee beans maybe I’ll try putting the whole bag in see what happens. As to longevity I’ve not had any problems with Andrew James products in the past but to be fair I’ve only one other and that’s 14 yrs old and still going strong but it’s not an every day use item so time will tell. At this price though 3 yrs will do and I expect it will do that due to the build quality and feel.Sk far id recommend it if you have space to store when not in use or you don’t need a kettle

After many requests we finally put a coffee machine in our office for staff to share. It’s well used, but the vague instrucitons caused a bit of frustration whilst people got use to it. Here’s a selection of comments from folk using it:
“Says in the instructions “fill the weather tank with water up to the scale of “2”, but when we did this it only made enough coffee for 1 person”.
“When using the “brew coffee with coffee beans” option with the water tank filled to the “2” mark the coffee is really strong, when the water tank is full to the 10 mark the coffee is really weak – not clear in the instructions how to adjust the strength of the coffee. “
“Knob at the top for unlocking the lid and adjusting the grind setting it quite stiff (difficult to turn)”
“Doesn’t say in manual how often it needs to be cleaned? “
“Don’t know if we need to clean the nylon filter or replace it? How often this needs to be done or if this doesn’t need to be done?”
So, we have some user anxiety from the unclear directions. Hence my knocking off one star. That said, it is really well used now – and the few cups I have had taste good to me. So at this price point, it seems decent.

This coffee maker is much lager than the measurements in its description it is actually 20cm W 27cm D 46cm H so will not fit in the space under wall cabinet and work surface.
