Good quality and well made mini portable machine, comes with all you need and also a metal ring that I have no idea what it does. Power cable is quite thick and hard to move but it works fast and well. Although its touch screen buttons they work really well

This firstly and foremost is a handy little product, it makes fairly nice coffee and is quite compact, so it makes travelling with it no problem whatsoever.
It’s real simple to use even though the instructions are a little lacking in detail.
I did however get it to produce some nice coffee on the first try, so it’s fine really.
My only real downside to this is the build quality for the price, it should realistically cost around half the current price of £59 in my opinion, so the value for money isn’t really there, but this is a personal view, others might find it to be great value but for me it seems a bit plastic heavy when it should have been a little better if aluminium or an alloy was used.
Over all though it’s fine and will certainly get some more use over the summer months for sure.
This will be great for picnics that we love to have.
4 stars is about right, which means it’s pretty good.

    Customer Review

I really wanted to love this. I think it’s a great design and the portability is a killer feature, but it has too many niggling issues to make it a five-star product.

The first issue is that it’s hard to judge the amount of coffee to use. My first run I overloaded it and it leaked everywhere, including into the body of the machine and I was concerned about the risk of shock.

Once I’d worked out how much coffee to use I was able to make a very tasty coffee shot, with decent crema. However, the volume of coffee produced is small and it’s really only useful for making single-shot drinks, one at a time.

If you like your coffee strong, or long, or want to make drinks for multiple people then you have to wait for the coffee pod to cool significantly between each shot. The pod screws together and it is very hot to handle after coffee has been dispensed, so if you don’t wait you run the risk of scalds.

The water is added into a reservoir at the back of the machine where it is heated and then passed through the coffee pod boiled. However, the boiler/reservoir is really just an open kettle unit with a thin plastic lid that sits on top. As another reviewer has noted it’s positioned directly over the electrical cable which gave me pause.

I have a manual expresso cup, that uses manual vacuum power to drive the hot water through the coffee. This is definitely an upgrade on that, but it’s not quite the product I dreamed of, nor the one it could have been. So I am left a little ambivalent about its value.
