This is a superb citrus juicer, I bought it as my sister in law had one and as soon as I tried it I knew I had to get one! So pleased that I did, it is amazing, so easy to use and clean, I love the rubber lever as you pull it down t juice the fruit, it feels lovely. The only thing I would say is that it is a lot of money, but I guess you get what you pay for and this is a quality piece of kit. It is the ‘Rolls Royce’ of citrus juicers, definitely 100% recommend this!

Quite pricy but it’s worth every penny

I Love the Stainless Steel/Silver/Metal look and finish to the body of the Juicer, including the Juice Collector, the Juice Cone and the Juice Filter. Its easy to assemble before use and easy to dismantle after use.
The Fruit Dome has a Stainless Steel outer cover with a plastic inner/under cover.
I Love the fact that although there’s a manual ‘Arm-press’ to operate the Juicer, it’s auto-electric motor base – which is plastic – ‘does not’ rely on the arm strength of the human like so many manual juicers do.
Throughout our lifetime we may collect several pieces of gadgets, and several pieces of the same gadgets as replacements or upgrades in order to keep up with technology. In a 30 year span, this is my second electronic Citrus Press and by far the best one I’ve bought yet. It’s expensive, but I can’t fault it on quality and ‘you get what you pay for’. However, I did have to Return it.
Don’t you just hate it when you open the box all excited and ready to play with your new toy, but somehow you instinctively know, that you’ve received someone else’s Return. You just know you’ve received a ‘dud’ that not brand new and/or straight from the manufacturers – the packaging looks disturbed, parts have already been assembled, etc.
I daresay, the one I Return will be re-packaged and sent out as new to someone else. But that wasn’t even the reason why I Returned it.
The irony is… the one I received was faulty – a fault that I believe was detected by last person who owned it and Returned it. Of course, this is all speculation.
The fault?
The Eject Button didn’t work.
I tried the Eject button before and after juicing and got the same results – it doesn’t work. So I Returned the Juicer.
The Eject button is the button that releases the inner plastic or undercover plastic Fruit Dome for washing.
The downside is, that the motor doesn’t ‘appear’ to be turning any faster than a cheapo other electric `Citrus Press’, and therefore you cannot squeeze any more juice out of the fruit than the fruit size – whether it’s manual or auto-electric.
Thank You!

The press is easy to operate, with intuitive controls and a simple design that makes it easy to clean. It also features a drip-stop spout that prevents messes and makes it easy to pour juice into a glass or pitcher.
One of the standout features of this citrus press is its ability to extract a high amount of juice from each piece of fruit, thanks to its efficient juicing mechanism. This means that users can get more juice from each fruit, resulting in less waste and more value for their money.
Overall, this citrus press is a reliable and efficient tool for anyone who enjoys fresh citrus juice on a regular basis. Its powerful motor, durable construction, and easy-to-use design make it a top choice for home chefs and professional cooks alike.

The media could not be loaded.
Lasted 5 weeks, then stopped working.

Solidly and reassuringly built, it does what it does very efficiently and quietly. Importantly, it is easy and quick to clean – the bane of many juicers. There are some nice touches- the supply lip clicks up, stopping that irritating drip, drip on your worktop and the juicing cone rotates to keep the ‘mush’ out of the way. Expensive, but in my view worth it.

Addendum: I paid £132 for my juicer, I’m amazed it’s gone back up to £199. You may want to wait until the price comes back down.
I have several manual and electric juicers, far too many in fact, and they’re all good at general juicing, but a bit of a bore on citrus fruits. Typically the cones are made of plastic, and often discolour, as do the filters. I also have the juicing attachments to food processors and my KitchenAid, and the same problems apply: they are all difficult to clean, and generally a bit of a fiddle to put together. If you’re going to use something like this on a regular basis, it has to work perfectly, fit together very simply, and be a doddle to clean. The Sage citrus press is a fantastic piece of kit! Firstly, it looks good, always a factor if you’re going to leave this somewhere that encourages you to use it often. It’s a very solid piece of kit, with virtually all the relevant bits being made of heavy metal (the inside of the “cap” is lined with plastic, but that’s the only piece). The spout has a very simple bump on the end, that allows you to lift it up to stop the juice flow… The handle exerts enough pressure without you needing to force it down, and the double filter removes all but the finest of particles (I sieved some juice to see what was left, and it was really just a tiny bit of sludge, not even citrus fibres). I know some people like the pulp in their juice, but as a cook, I’m looking for the cleanest juice, so this suits me perfectly. The whole thing takes about 30 seconds to dismantle, and about 2 minutes to wash and reassemble – it really is surprisingly quick compared to the other models I have. Another cute feature is the angle of the cap, which allows you to juice everything from a large grapefruit down to a little lime. I’m very impressed by it. I know the Sage juicer has its issues, but the citrus press is pretty much perfect from my point of view.
Update: since I first used it I’ve found this press continues to impress – I juiced a mountain of blood oranges the other day, and I hadn’t noticed another nifty little feature it includes. There’s actually a rotating arm inside the press, which keeps the pulp moving around, ensure that even if the ‘well’ of it is filling up with pulp, the juice can still find it’s way through the filter – very clever little idea. I’d have had to stop to clean it many times otherwise.
