Absolutely 5* bought the blue on first now black for each of my in laws. If you’re ordering make sure their sim card is the big one. If not get a cheap PAYG one and you the outer bit to make yours bigger. Easy to use and great value for money.

El teléfono móvil Uleway para personas mayores ha sido una compra fantástica para mi abuela. Aquí te dejo lo que más me gusta y algunos pequeños detalles a tener en cuenta:
Puntos positivos:
Teclas grandes y fáciles de usar: Las teclas grandes son geniales para mi abuela. No tiene problemas para marcar números o leer mensajes, y eso es exactamente lo que necesitábamos.
Botón SOS: La función de botón SOS es una gran tranquilidad para toda la familia. Sabemos que puede pedir ayuda rápidamente si lo necesita, lo cual es una característica muy valiosa.
Pantalla clara de 2,4 pulgadas: La pantalla es fácil de leer y perfecta para sus necesidades. No es demasiado pequeña, y el texto es lo suficientemente grande para no causar problemas.
Linterna incorporada: La linterna es un toque muy práctico. Mi abuela la usa de vez en cuando, y es estupendo no tener que buscar una linterna separada.
Cuna de carga incluida: La cuna de carga es muy cómoda. No tiene que estar lidiando con cables cada vez que necesita cargar el teléfono, lo cual simplifica mucho las cosas.
Puntos negativos:
Cámara básica: La cámara es bastante básica. Hace su trabajo, pero no esperes una calidad de foto impresionante. Es suficiente para tomar fotos rápidas, pero no es nada del otro mundo.
Pocas funciones avanzadas: Aunque esto no es un problema para mi abuela, si alguien busca un teléfono con muchas funciones, este podría quedarse corto. Está diseñado para ser simple y fácil de usar, y lo cumple a la perfección.
En resumen, el Uleway es ideal para personas mayores que necesitan un teléfono sencillo y confiable. Mi abuela está muy contenta con él, y me alegra haber encontrado un dispositivo que es tan fácil de usar.

Physically the phone seems a really good option for older people, or those with Alzheimers like my mum, who has “broken” another phone.
We live 100 miles away, so I just had to get a phone and a new sim card for her, then post it and see how long it takes her to lose, sorry break, break, this one.
Now I accept the first mistake was my fault – I got her a Smarty sim as they’re the cheapest. But they only work with 3G and above. This phone is only 2G, so I hold my hands up there, my bad.
We’ve since tried EE, GiffGaff, O2 and T-Mobile, and it won’t recognise a single card. They all work with 2G according to their customer service, and each time we give up on one card we break it down to the nano sim (because this phone takes the old giant sim card and literally no one else’s phone in the world does) and it works in ours.
My mum’s also spending a small fortune on non-functioning sim cards and first month’s calls and data (which she doesn’t need as a smart phone is way beyond her grasp) in the process.
Unfortunately I chucked the box and packaging out when it arrived as “what could go wrong with a £26 phone really?” Well everything as it goes.
Think we’ll just have to go to a physical shop and get whatever the simplest thing they have is with a functioning sim. It does make you think it’s a shame there’s not more options out there for older people, particularly those with dementia, but obviously they’re not a big returning customer demographic so there’s capitalism for you.

Simple to use. Large script and function buttons so no more squinting. Well lit easy to read screen despite it’s small size and best of all, the battery holds it’s charge for a long time on standby. I only need a top up charge every six weeks. In short a very basic phone that’s reliable and less expensive than similar devices. The only fly in the ointment is the selection of ring tones. Only one of them is acceptable, the rest are absolute pants that sound like an irritating childs’ toy. Hence only four stars.

Great little phone that I got for my elderly dad. However, it is very small, which some might prefer but my Dad needs something bigger. Also when the phone rings a silent option comes up just above the phone icon so my Dad keeps pressing that by accident, so his phone is constantly on silent!!!! I have to keep going round to his house and there is a long process of getting back off silent!!!! So sadly back to his old phone.
