Bought this for my dad (80) and it’s the first phone he can actually use. It’s pretty basic (therefore less complicated) but easy for him to make and receive calls, he can use texts now too. Decent battery life and reasonably quick to charge. Overall – pleased with purchase.

This phone will be useless when the 3G network turns off later this year there was no mention of this when buying and we have had non stop messages from 02 telling us they are closing down 3G in October

I own a smart phone as well as this one, the problem with the smart phone is that it is a bit bulky and can be a bit difficult to see in bright sunshine; since I am not interested in selfies, social media, texting and all that nonsence the only reason to take a phone out with me is simply to use it as a phone if required. I have received a few calls when out cyling and this type of phone is very easy to use – you just flip it open and press the receive button, what could be simpler? One couple of other things, the screen is bright and clear, the sound quality is very good and the battery seems to last quite some time.

Bought one for Dad to replace his old one that wasn’t really working very well. He only uses it for calls so a simple big button flip phone is ideal. Afraid the new one is just as bad as the old one it replaced. Phone struggles to hold a signal, calls constantly drop. It’s simple but it’s a long way from being as reliable as a proper modern smart phone.

USB C is good for charging- less fiddly than the previous micro usb
Volume is a bit quiet

Saw an advert for this phone in a newspaper and thought I could probably get it cheaper on Amazon and I was correct, what a steal for the price. Got my grandmother this phone to help with communication. Works really well and is simple to teach. I would advise hotkeying some speed dial numbers to the numpad and the dedicated buttons to make this easier to use. Can highly recommend!

Bought this for my 85 year old Mam as an alternative to a smart phone as she could use. Really good phone, does the job, Big buttons and numbers so she can see easily. Worked first time when switching on. Easy to use and text. Texting is old school so take a while but for the cost can’t go wrong. Been using for last 6 months and still going strong. Ideal for older person who just doesnt want a smart phone.
