Was somewhat skeptical of getting this laptop as it is a brand I’ve never heard of before but because of all the great features listed I figured I would give it a shot. I am pleasantly surprised. The screen is very bright and clear and a decent size. It functions flawlessly for general computing tasks and streaming movies and videos online with no issues at all. It has plenty of storage and is very fast. I have not tried any higher need programs like gaming or 3d modeling yet so I cannot speak on its ability to handle those. Overall I am happy with it and would recommend to anyone needing a basic laptop for school or work.

ACEMAGIC 16 inch Laptop’s care and attention to detail are readily evident in this fine product. Glad I discovered this gem. You get many impressive specs at an affordable price. At the center of the AX16 is the most recent Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake N95 processor; and it offers simple and smooth multitasking for everyday tasks. The innovative system is 30% faster than older Pentium and Celeron processors. I like that! Memory and storage easily deliver demanding applications. Visuals are stunning on this 16-inch display. I appreciate the screen’s thin bezel design. The sleek laptop meets the expectations of other systems in a similar category: headphone jack, 3 USB-A ports, HDMI port.\, USB-C port, TF card slot, and a DC jack for charging. Other features include Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 for reliable wireless connectivity. However, I have ‘t figured out how to get the Bluetooth to run properly. (I didn’t penalize the product any quality stars for it because it’s probably something technical I simply need to solve.) Long battery life is an asset. It’s a powerful computer at a bargain price. Terrific performance!

Overall this is a very nice laptop at a decent price. The quality is good for a lesser known brand.
The screen is large and bright. Picture quality is good. The keyboard has decent enough action. I wouldn’t want to use it 9 hours a day, 5 days a week, for months on end, but it’s a good enough keyboard for the occasional long letter. The trackpad works well enough to hook up my mouse. I hate trackpads but this one is about as good as any.
Processor speed seems decent. I’m mostly using web applications so my needs are basic. The case quality seems good and appears durable.
Overall, this is a good laptop for basic tasks. It’s good for a student that isn’t into graphic-intensive games or as a personal laptop for light-duty tasks. The price is decent given the specs, especially RAM, HDD and screen size. Name brands with similar specs are a fair bit more expensive.

I’ve been using this laptop for about 10 days now, and it’s been impressive right out of the box. The Ryzen 7 handles everything I’ve needed — browsing, streaming, and multitasking with a few programs open — all without slowing down. It definitely feels quick and responsive, and faster than some older i7s I’ve used.
The 16-inch display is crisp and great for both work and watching videos. The keyboard has a nice feel, and the backlight is handy in the evenings. Setup was easy, and the SSD makes boot-up and loading times snappy. WiFi 6 has kept the connection strong too. Still early days, but so far it’s looking like a solid and well-balanced laptop.

My first observation was that it seemed heavy for its size. At least part of this was due to its using more metal than plastic in its construction, which was nice to see. The second observation was the thin film construction keyboard, which I don’t generally like, but it should make typing a bit faster, and I bought this machine for typing. I have to say, don’t like the compact keyboard layout, I do prefer the 104 Key keyboard layout that I first used nearly forty years ago. I guess part of that because I am used to it, but only one Enter key is confusing the heck out of me, every time I go near the thing. They have put an oversized Ins key in the bottom right corner, instead, which simply does not seem right. What drew me to this machine, as opposed to some of the others around in the price bracket, was the specification that the 16GB of RAM could be upgraded to up to 64GB, and the 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD could be upgraded as well. The maximum capacity for this seems to be either 2TB or 4TB, depending on which report you read, but 2TB would be fine for me for this job. It arrived with the battery fully charged, but because of all the set up, downloads, installations and updates, it was far too early to even consider testing the battery life in normal use. The downloads and installs were surprisingly quick and the machine so far has been very responsive. The keyboard is pleasant despite the compact layout and the track pad is enormous. Avast Free Antivirus and Avast Free Secure Browser were installed. The Microsoft Account was set up and the email for that was updated. The first round of Windows updates was carried out and I made sure that Microsoft Office was available. With OneDrive set up and all my documents now accessible from the new account set up, the computer was ready to go. The only thing left to do was to start cycling the battery and condition it for maximum performance and duration. With three USB 3 ports, one USB C port, HDMI, Micro SD, audio. power and a Kensington LOCK, I was very pleased with the port options. The outer base plate is secured with ten screws, which should provide easy access to all of the upgrades and exchangeable components. The Grey finish, whilst unusual is very pleasant to the eye and to the fingers. The quality of the screen image is excellent, although I did tweak it a little right at the start.

So I am currently writing this review on this exact PC, and I can say easily that it works great! It is very quick and starts up fast. CPU temps are great and the screen is clear and easy to see. The Keys and the plastic on it feel a bit cheap but that isn’t a big deal. THe sound isn’t very good on the onboard audio, but add some speakers to it, and no problem at all. Works great with my headphones. It is lightweight and easy to take with you. A fantastic price and value honestly! I have not had a single issue with it and have used it for a couple of months now. So, I waited to review it until I had some time to test it out. I can honestly say I am a fan! Love it! Would be an awesome gift or great for a student! Overall: Very happy with it and a great value and price!

This laptop is very convenient to use, with a metal shell, ergonomic keyboard, and spacious mouse touchpad. With the pre-installed Windows 11 Pro system, I think it will run smoothly and perfectly as my office laptop for data processing.
