This is such a good speaker – a wee bit heavy if carrying it for any length of time, but definitely compact enough to be portable with a good sturdy strap that comes with it. The sound is amazing both indoors and outdoors. We used it as an Irish Dance group during parades and performances out in the streets and it is fantastic. Connects very quickly with bluetooth and has an app. Battery lasts a long time too. Definitely highly recommend this product, extremely high quality and great value for money.

I bought this for my son after seeing that the reviews were good and I have to say it has not disappointed, the sound is brilliant and the lights are fantastic. It is quick to charge and connect. Absolutely worth 5 stars and not too bulky either.

So I must say that this portable Bluetooth speaker, on its own for the price, is incredible in every way. The sound is full, deep, rich, and also has vibrant clarity to it. I love that these are waterproof…I’ve left these outside after a party when it rained and had no problem with them afterward. The battery lasts several long uses. I seem to go a long while between charges.
I said “left these outside” before because I actually have 4 of these. And I have 4 boom plus’s. The most transformative, game-changing feature is the ability for you to connect to up to 100 at the same time. Seriously. Gaming changing. The sound experience when you hook up several of these and surround yourself in an array of perfectly in sync sound is wild. I was having a party last summer in my back yard. I was considering getting a DJ… considering having a friend’s band play. But since I had 1 boom plus and 2 boom 2 plus’s already, I decided to get the others and experiment. I positioned them at the perimeter of my back yard. The sound quality, clarity, everything… Standing in the middle of this was sooo cool. You create an acoustic situation where the music is very present and seemingly flying around you, while also being able to have uninhibited conversations.

i haven’t really looked into getting a speaker since my Kitsound hive died, I couldn’t see any speaker I liked for what I was looking for but when I see a few people at work with this brand “soundcore” the quality was really good and I seen the pair a speaker to speaker feature to act a surround sound at work was really good experience
so I looked and looked and speakers on here to find a cheaper option but to be honest, £200 pounds for a Bluetooth speaker some people might think that’s crazy but when you’ve got this speaker blaring at 100% on the app and then also the device. there’s no distortion, quality of the sound is amazing it’s definitely value for money. fantastic bass clarity and the connectivity shocked me Im working in the fields and some fields I have to leave my phone at the speaker due to far distance but when I’m not in a large field connectivity is decent
only thing I dislike about this speaker is when you have the volume at 100% battery life only seems to last 4-8 hours not the full 24h but bare in mind that is a 140w speaker but even low volume levels are still good
the app also let’s you customise the equaliser to what the user wants or presets, you can also control the volume of the speaker play your music via the soundcore app. if you are into the RGB’s then you can also control the lights on the app.
something I found pretty cool was that you could turn off the device in the app. **the device has buttons so your able to switch it on control volume. connect to other soundcore speakers, lights, tws, and the bass feature. I’m a major bass freak when it comes to music

It has been over 6 months since I have received this speaker and thought it was time to leave a review.
Purchased as an upgrade to the (frankly excellent) ‘motion +’. This is a beast of a speaker! If you are fan of bass heavy music, I can’t recommend this highly enough. Definitely fits into the party speaker category. I am yet to meet someone who isn’t noticeably blown away when the bass line kicks in, so much noise from a (relatively) small speaker. You can of course turn the thunderous bass off for a more mellow sound. Personally I leave it on regardless of the style of music (currently listening to a mix of 70’s and 80’s as i write, however also listen to alot of edm, rap ect) as I feel it adds warmth where it was otherwise lacking. The accompanying app allows you to adjust the equaliser to your own tastes, however I have found the ‘soundcore signature’ setting to be good enough that it doesn’t need tweaking (be aware of early reviews before a much welcome update which slated the sound quality, it’s far better now). My sons received the delivery for me so i told them to have a play with it, I received a text message a few minutes later simply saying “OH MY GOD”, the boys were very impressed by it’s ability to shake the house.
All day battery life. I’ve never ran it out despite having it fairly loud and on for the majority of the day. Does take a fair while to charge up though. You can charge your phone or other devices from the usb-C port at the rear so it doubles as a power-bank should you need to charge an item whilst out and about.
It has some nice lighting integrated with the passive radiators at the sides. These do a great job of adding a nice visual touch to the sound while they move and shake (quite aggressively at higher volumes) to the beat. Again, these can also be turned off, which in turn will increase your battery life.
Waterproof. Personally I have never tested this claim, plenty of others have though so it’s nice to know you can have this at a pool or balanced on the edge of a hot-tub or even working in the rain and not have to worry in the slightest.
As you can tell, I’m a fan. This goes in my subwoofer-less car and honestly does a great job at bridging that gap. It gets a lot of use as an indoor speaker, replacing the need for a larger hi-Fi system, and often goes on trips with us. So far it’s been flawlessly reliable, not once have I had an issue. This is my 3rd Soundcore speaker and by far the most impressive.

Straight out of the box, this speaker is simple to set up. It’s a portable unit but is still reassuringly weighty. It feels like it’s built to last and even before ‘bedding’ the speakers in, the sound quality is amazing. Much better than I’d expected or hoped for. Would definitely recommend for garden party’s, bbq’s etc. Just a small point but I’d definitely have left the lights out. They look tacky and would probably suit a twelve year old but it’s the one negative thing in my opinion. I really hope I can shut them off!
I’d still give it five stars though because it’s an awsome piece of kit!

Fantastic sound, especially if you adjust the equalizer settings. I’ve only had it for ten days. It’s a power unit. I’ve played for 10-15 hours at about a quarter of the maximum volume (with the light effects turned off) and about 75-80 percent of the battery is left. Incredible sound and performance for the money. I absolutely don’t regret buying this. We will get a lot of use and enjoyment out of the Boom 2 Plus. Hope the lifespan is good.

Read the reviews and went for it. At 3.8kg it’s easy carry on luggage with space for flights.
Build quality seems spot on!
USB C charging and doubles as power bank.
As for sound quality, very powerful bass for what is two woofers and two passives. Mids and tops are not shabby either.
One of the best features is party mode! Buy two and get double the fun with seamless link. Super versatile and will connect with most other units of this brand with party mode.
Super value for money on prime! Still considering a second (might annoy people round the pool with mobile disco power)
Fully waterproof but not planning on testing it!
