   The Dyson is excellent, so my daughter, the recipient, tells me. The delivery agent was not very sympathetic. I know delivery is a headache in an age when most houses are empty during the day, but it’s not too arduous to send a message giving a date and an idea of what part of the day, surely?
   In the end we had to contact Amazon to get a satisfactory delivery.
   That’s all!!

   This is an update to my previous review. Having bought this machine just over ONE year ago, it has now broken down, Dyson Customer services have told me that we are not covered by their 5 year warranty and have wriggled out of fixing it. Good luck to you if you buy this. I would definately never purchase one of their products again and recommend that you do not either.

   Just bought this from Amazon and am wondering what all the fuss is about. Yes it sucks well, but there are so many downs its not really worth it. I bought it because I had heard it was such a great design but found this to be far from the the truth.

   The vacuum is way too heavy, you need to be a weight lifter to use this thing efficiently (I’m a 6ft tall ex rugby playing man). The front of the vacuum is too bulky, it does not fit easily under anything including high fronted sofas and bookcases. There is no light on the front of the vacuum, come on Dyson it helps if you can see the dirt your picking up. Its very cumbersome and not easy to steer – not good for a space with lots of items, you know like most peoples houses. There’s no kickstsand on the back of the vacuum, to tilt the machine I have to put my foot on the front of the vacuum, who’s silly idea was that…uhhmm now where do you push a vacuum from. The handle is poorly designed and uncomfortable, and the attachment tools, my goodness what a complete waste of time and space. The stairs attachment is only 6 or 7 cm wide, well hey thats great if I want to spend all day cleaning my house. Also the stairs attachment has no pivot, so you spend your time contorting your back whilst cleaning – sorry Dyson but thats bloody useless to say the least. The whole idea of half disassembling the unit to use the accessories may appeal to you, but I like time saving efficient tools myself, you know the kind that make chores easy.

   Now lets think of the positive points… oh the yellow bit on top is pretty! And oh it sucks! Sorry Dyson lovers its a definite thumbs down for the Dyson DC07.

   I have a german shepherd, who sheds hair everyday; and this make of hoover, is the only one, that has ever cleared the dog hairs up properly. Not even my neighbour’s dyson animal, made much difference. I was so pleased to find this one being sold, at a great price. The hoover is easy to use, powerful enough to get rid of all the dog hairs, and really easy to empty. I love it!

   this has got to be one of the best bargains ever a good as new Dyson for less than £90!,. it arrived well packed when I got it out of the box, it looked new with polished casing and new hoses and brushes etc. I firstly checked everything and then tried it. (we do have an older model which we have had for years) we could not believe the difference in power and suction, I know these are refurbished older models but just as good as the new model that you buy in the shop at nearly three times the price, our son has the new model and is no better. All I can say is buy you will not be disapointed.

   We bought this to replace an existing machine which has reduced performance due to its age. The new refurbed machine is excellent, working as well as a brand new unit which is no longer available.. The service from the supplier was first class. This product is very good value.

   Iv’e beeen a fan of Dyson for years now haviong bought two previous models. Bought this one as a suprise birthday present (4/2/07) for my mum. Usual comments of shouldn’t spend all your money cause can’t afford it and so on, anyway as she needed another one she was over the moon untill it was turned on. Up when’t the dirt followed by a smell of burning rubber. Turned it off only to find the belt driving the brush had broken after 10 seconds of use. Not amused and a real dampner on a special as I thought birthday pressie.

   When it arrived it was quite well worn and in a worse condition cosmetically than the one that we were replacing. However it works well and it is only vacuum cleaner so not the end of the world in terms of what it looks like. I might have been better paying a bit more and getting a less worn one but I guess it’s the luck of the draw.
   I am happy with the cleaner though when compared to the cost of a new one.

   Well pleased I couldn’t have wished for a better reconstructions Hoover I was going to buy new but so pleased with this one suction is as strong and powerful as a new Dyson Hoover I would recommend to anyone looking for a good Hoover get this one
