I brought this to replace a much older Dyson, and it was about time too! This vaccum is not as heavy as I thought it would be, infact it s lighter than it looks. It is pretty, and easy to use. I like the way the hose just pulls out the top and I highly appreciate the way you can store the attachments on the vacuum itself so you can use as and when you need them. I have also noticed the extra length in the power cord which is great. Any bad points? Well ive only had it a few weeks and as yet I cant really think of any!

I bought the Dyson in January and the motor blew up in July.
7 months old and told the machine was only guaranteed for 30 days.
Had to spend another £100 to get it fixed with no offer from the buyer.
Ripped off and definitely wont use them again. Steer clear.

Loved this dyson. Don’t have it anymore but had it for a long while. Now I have a similar one but light in weight.

This vacuum was a big disappointment. It doesn’t pick up pet hair very well, it’s bulky and cumbersome to use and overpriced compared to other vacuum cleaners. I thought that paying extra would have given me an impressive cleaner – this certainly isn’t it.

Looked round for a replacement vacuum for our old Dyson that had lasted about 6 years and saw this up at the top of the ‘Which’ review. A good review overall so decided to go for it. Great choice as it pickes up really well. motor is noisy as stated on the review but compensated by excellent cleaning. The hose wand is better than the old model as you can get under the furniture easier due to the design. Not disapoined yet but only 1 month into using it.

I moved into a new apartment where the previous owners obviously didn’t even OWN a vacuum cleaner (the carpets were disgusting)! In need of a new cleaner I opted for the Rolls and bought a DC27. Turned out to be a good decision. By the time I had done one lap of the flat it looked like I’d had the place re-carpeted – it sucked up absolutely everything on a single pass (the suction this thing produces is quite outstanding). A quick flick of the switch and it was in ‘hard floor mode’, ready to tackle the hallway and kitchen.
Although it comes with a couple of its own attachments, I also purchased the soft dusting brush and a couple of other accessories at the same time. The former is great as after I have hoovered I now use that to do all the dusting as well – whilst it doesn’t produce that ‘just polished’ smell, it is SO much faster and easier than working around the home with a duster. In fact, if they bring out an attachment that cleans the bath and shower, this will be the only cleaning tool I need in the house.
So, this fantastically built machine (5-year guarantee) should be top of your shopping list if you’re looking for something that really does take the pain out of cleaning and you’re not too bothered about paying a few pence more.
