Amazon Customer –
Bought this in the hope it would encourage my wife and I to be less lazy with the hoovering, a job we both hated.
It worked!
This thing is so quick and easy to use we Hoover every other day now.
On max settings it so powerful you can feel the Hoover being pulled to the floor and it cleans really well. The only downside is the battery on max settings won’t last long enough to do the whole house. You can get the downstairs done but need to charge it up again to do upstairs. It’s not a major problem you just need to plan your cleaning a bit around the battery. We have a 4 bedroom house but it’s by no means a big house.
I also find its not much good on tiled or vinyl floor, reducing the power helps on these floor types but it’s still not great, best to use a mop instead.

We have a large house and one very hairy german shephard who spends a good bit of time inside. The convenience of this vacuum means we can hoover little and often to combat the tumbleweed problem. Yes the battery only lasts 20 mins and the dust compartment fills very quickly, but in just 5 mins I can do a very quick hoover of our very large tiled kitchen and hallway and it keeps the tumbleweeds at bay. So now instead of doing a ‘big’ hoover once a week (and having to put up with tumbleweeds in-between) – I do 5 mins a day on the problem areas (hallway and kitchen) and maybe 20 mins once a week on the less problematic areas (bedrooms, sitting room, etc). We’ll probably still get the big hoover out once a month but this little gem keeps the house relatively dog-hair free in the meantime.
Pros:
Suction is perfect for hoovering up pet hairs on tiled/wood floors, I haven’t had to use the high power setting yet.
Very good on rugs and carpets also.
It’s lightweight at 2KG – other cordless vacs I looked at were 3-4KG.
Great for hoovering our hardwood stairs and for doing general above floor dusting (e.g. blinds, cobwebs etc)
Super easy to empty the dust compartment into the bin (literally at the press of a button)
Filter only has to be cleaned once a month (unlike another compact vacuum I had where it had to be cleaned after every use)
The price – I purchased this for £199 on amazon which was a great deal
Cons:
Battery life – only lasts 20mins but this isn’t a major factor for us
Dust compartment is very small and thanks to our hairy dog, fills up after 5-10mins of use, but again not a major factor as it’s so easy to empty
Vacuum head is quite small so it takes more passes to hoover a room
Doesn’t cope too well with hoovering our dog beds, it sticks to the bed and suction stops completely – though perhaps it would cope better using one of the duster attachments provided (I haven’t tried yet)

A great cordless vacuum cleaner, lightweight with powerful suction. I love using this it cope with all the dirt and dust easily, even the dog hair and general grime caused by my hairy hounds. I find that I don’t need to use the max button on most of my floors, I just zip round and it’s done. Great for spider nabbing as it reaches all the nooks and crannies, safely keeping them at arms lengh. The battery life is OK I usually do downstairs one day and upstairs the next, as it does need a charge in between. My only minor niggle is the small dust bucket does need emptying a lot, but this is a minor problem compared with how much quicker and easier it makes cleaning my home.

This is the worst vacuum we have ever owned, it has never worked and constantly gets stuck. It’s been a lot of trouble and frustration owning this Dyson!

I’m actually really impressed with this Dyson. I bought it for work where a corded vacuum just wasn’t working as it’s quite a small work space with lots of nooks and crannies, I had a Henry previously. This is very powerful, as good as any corded one I’ve used. I have a dyson at home and find it quite clunky but this one does click together quite nicely and is easy to change from tool to tool. Not sure if it would be suitable for a house but definitely good for a small work space or small flat. And it’s really light which is a bonus.

This was purchased to avoid carrying the corded Dyson upstairs. The machine works well picking up pretty fine dust especially on surfaces. I find it light and easy to use. The wand part certainly helps with vertical reach but my wife points out I am taller and stronger for holding the machine up. Very good on the stairs avoiding snaggy cable. However the battery time is short. The claim was 20minutes.I have found since I have purchased this a couple of days ago that the time rarely exceeds ten minutes before requiring re-charge. This will not be a problem if you only want to do one room and part landing at a time. Re-charge time is good. This will not really replace main machine but is a very useful addition and convenient for shorter cleaning tasks. Reason for 4 stars is that it is fairly expensive and the short battery time. Time will tell whether it deserves 5 stars.

Having wanted a Dyson for ages we snapped this up on a Warehouse deal. Overall it has been good, but not great as there’s a few small flaws that combined make the vacuum a little disappointing.
We have a three bedroom house and it is impossible to do a thorough vacuum on one charge, the battery lasts 20 minutes but when you try to get into every nook and cranny it’s surprising how quickly the time adds up.
The dust bin looks quite large on first inspection, but the ‘Max’ line is quite low so it does need emptying a few times if you’re using it for the full 20 minutes and there always seems to be dust and head caught in the more awkward to reach parts.
Overall I would say this is best suited to quick cleans, if you vacuum every few days, or cleaning furniture and vehicles. We now run it alongside a traditional vacuum which is much more effective for us.
