This Shark is a nicely designed vacuum cleaner. My last one a Dyson upright has given up the ghost it needed needed replacing as did my Dyson handheld vacuum cleaner so I purchased the shark in place of my two Dyson vacuum cleaners.
Used it today for the first time and was very surprised by the weight of it, so much lighter than my Dyson consequently a lot easier to carry up the stairs. It comes with a set of tools which is enough I would think for the average person, I understand they also have specialist tools available. They also supply a canvas bag to carry the tools with you, which is very handy. The container for the dust in my opinion is a bit small and I found it convenient to have a plastic bag on hand to take the dust as I went through each room. This is not a complaint merely an observation. To release the dust container, there is a button on the side that you press to release the container, be careful of this button when using the tools supplied, I made an error when cleaning the stairs and pressed this button in error, the dust container was released and bounced all the way to the bottom of the stairs but fortunately or by design the dust container remained closed and no harm was done and the dust container survived the fall.
My only complaint that is more the sign of the times was that this product was made in China, I do try to avoid buying anything Chinese but to do this I would have to stop buying most things as China seems to have corner at the market on nearly everything.
Overall, a very good product and I am extremely pleased with it as you can see I have given it five stars

So we decided to upgrade our hoover. after having a dyson v6 that sadly died on us something to do with the engine (we was fed up of having to keep cutting hair from around the end of the brush part anyway). We decided to pay abit more for the 80 min run time and pet tool. The 80min run time Is due to them supplying 2 batteries and a dual charging station which is a brilliant idea as when one runs out you can change the battery over which is done very easily so each battery lasts approx 40min (lower if you run it on full power). I love the lights on the head tool aswell as when I’m hoovering behind the sofa you can see right into the corners (see pics). I have had to empty it once in one run as it got that much hair of our rugs which we did not think was there so powerful and no hair wrapped around the end rollers which is excellent, I like how it comes with a neat little bag to keep the attachments in. Folds down for neat storage. Overall worth buying. 1 downside is it’s slightly on the heavy side so if your on the older side or have arthritic/back problems this may be too heavy for you. Ps we own 2 pug dogs and 2 cats that all heavily shed fur and yet after a good hoovering of house no hair/fur got wrapped around hoover head (see pics)

Yes, I think this is the vacuum I’ve been waiting for all my life. Sorry to get all excited about an inanimate object that sucks up up dirt (no, not my husband) but I am genuinely so pleased with this. I’ve been put off by the price till now but managed to get it for over £100 cheaper than elsewhere on Amazon for some reason.
Where do I start….It seems robust and well put together and came with lots of handy gadgets and a power charging cradle for the two batteries . A moron could put it together too..well this moron managed it no problems anyway. I’ve got Rheumatoid Arthritis and I haven’t found it hard to use the buttons to get the components apart. Also not having to keep your finger on the power button constantly is a bonus. It is slightly heavier than I thought it would be for a stick vacuum but it really isn’t a problem.
The suction is great, especially in boost mode. The battery seems to last for ages , well over 30 minutes even if mainly in boost mode. I actually found it difficult to run it down to zero as recommended the first time I used it.
I left my stairs without cleaning deliberately for a week and the first picture attached is the amount of filth the Shark picked up using the motorised pet tool attachment …yes , I know, disgusting. The second picture is the what the pet tool looked like immediately after cleaning up all that dirt and hair. Not a single hair wrapped around the blades or rollers. I just cannot believe it. I should say that I have long hair and my two black cats could shed hair for their country if it was an Olympic sport. So far , so good. I’ve only had it a little while but if anything happens to change my opinion, I’ll report back.
