I’m really impressed on first use of this cleaner. Having assembled and fully charged it, I spent just a couple of minutes running it over my carpet and around the furniture. It’s a pleasure to use. It’s fairly quiet and it effortlessly goes exactly where it’s steered. It’s better to use with it’s weight low down than stick type vacuums. Then I was amazed to find that even after such short use, it had collected half a container of dog hair that had been invisible on a carpet that had been cleaned with a powerful mains vacuum just the previous day. Both had equally good suction so this must be due to the Sharks motorised head picking up what a plain suction head had not.
All of the other ways of using this cleaner also function well. Handheld use with the motor in one hand or otherwise supported and just the lightweight head in the other, is particularly good. My only reservation is that while it all appears well designed and well constructed, this versatility requires a number of plastic interlocking parts to continue clipping perfectly together and making good electrical connections. This will all need to stand up well to frequent use. People’s needs can differ, but I think the battery will last long enough between recharges for all the quick or partial clean ups I want this for.
So this cleaner gives a great first impression and appears good value even for its above average cost. I’m really pleased to have chosen it over other types. Only time will tell if any snags appear, especially regarding it’s trouble-free longevity.

Generally pleased with the vacuum – it is portable, has good suction power and is lightweight. Runtime is as expected and it is good to have a digital display on the handle to show the amount of battery left. However considering we paid extra to have the pet hair function we have found that the vacuum (just a few weeks after purchase) got blocked with pet hair primarily which effectively made the vacuum ineffective because there was minimal suction. To actually remove the hair from the tube running down the back of the vacuum and to reach it we had to be creative with a coat hanger to get access to the hair and fluff (which was stuck half way up the tube) to unblock the tube. This has happened twice since we purchased the vacuum and is a bit of a cause of frustration

First time with a cordless Shark vacuum and really pleased with it. Just as good as the corded Shark vacuum that we had before this, maybe slightly less powerful.
Just a bit annoying that you can’t have any of the hose attachments on the actual vacuum itself, they are all loose so you have to carry them around with you if you need them. Another downside is when you empty the dust chamber all my long hair wraps around inside so you have to get your fingers in to unwrap it all which is a bit gross. But can over look the downsides.
It’s lovely and light, has great suction power and easy and quick to charge. Can definitely recommend.

I have always loathed vacuuming.. until now. Had powerful compact corded Miele vacuums before and was dubious about buying a cordless. So far this Shark ICZ300UKT model has exceeded expectations. It seems to get the carpets much cleaner as has different method of removing dust and grit etc. It is more versatile and easier to manoeuvre than our compact corded Miele. Lack of a cord makes using so much simpler. The battery at the moment lasts well, we do have mainly had floors though. Can always order second battery. Actions to dismantle and reconnect to reconfigure from upright to wand to portable are well designed making it very easy and buttons clearly indicated. It is well balanced in use as an upright also when you stop to move furniture or when storing. The fact it needs emptying regularly just seems to add to the satisfaction as you see how much it is picking up! Portable mode is genius design and makes stairs and upholstery cleaning very easy as it is so light. If you are debating whether to switch from a corded or which cordless model to go for we can thoroughly recommend this one. Bought when on offer at £329. Prices seem to go up and down regularly.

I really love this vacuum.
All the benefits from an upright you can push around and the versatility of being able to use it as a carry around too.
Suction is good, i have a dog a cat and live an outdoor lifestyle in an old cottage. This handles everything that gets dragged in from outside as well as the mess made by the log burners.
Good number of attachments heads to get in to all the nooks and crannies.
My only negatives would be:
– The battery life is shortish – although it easily cleans my whole house on 1 charge (2 bed cottage) so i cant down rate for this, but some might find this frustrating. Personally i’m happy to charge after each use.
– The dust container is small – needs regular emptying as does the filter. – again i didnt down rate it for this because anything bigger would make it heavier and less portable
– small nozzle head used for edges and corners is not powered unlike the brush heads, which makes it less powerful.

Had this for like 14 months. Second shark that packed up before 1.5 years. If you what an Instagram vacuum that looks great in your reel and is what all the cool influencers use, go for it. If you want one that actually continues to work beyond month 18, pass. Just bought a cheap version because at this price I might as well get 4 new vacuums for the same price

This is a good sturdy vac, it’s not light, is on the heavy side, but it’s ok when vacuuming and it doesn’t tip over when you stop using it, which my other shark vac did, you had to put it down all the time, this one is fine, it’s got a good suction on carpets and on hard floors, the light is good for showing bits you don’t see normally, I like that it shows how much charge is left in the battery, very useful, the display is at the right hight and I like the handle, it’s easy to hold, it charges quickly, easy to take the battery in and out, and to empty the dust out, so I’m pleased with this and at a good price.
