I have received this Shark vacmop 2 in 1, to review on behalf of Amazon. It arrived promptly and well packaged.
Love the brand and this is another quality item. I have hard flooring in most of the house, so this mop is perfect for my needs. I have 3 large breed dogs, so I do need to vacuum first, but I love that this has the ability to pick up any smaller bits I may have missed. The mop side of it is very good, and has a decent size reservoir for cleaning fluid. The spray is nice and even. I have removed a star as I feel that the disposable pads that come with it, are sub par. I will be investing in some reusable ones instead. At near £100 it may seem expensive, but I have thrown away 4 mops this year, which nearly comes to that total, so for me this is value for money.

Everything here is really good (I mean, it’s Shark – they know their business): build quality, ease of use, all the catches and triggers work smoothly and recharging the battery is super easy (the fact this is cordless is a huge benefit – although the charge doesn’t last as long as I’d like and will need recharging after an extended single use). I love how you can do a quick clean with this which includes a vacuum as well as a mop (and it stows away super neatly with it being so svelte and lightweight, too). BUT. There’s a “but”, folks. The mop heads and cleaning solution are going to be an ongoing purchase (and they’re not particularly cheap). Nothing here is reusable. Which is terrible for the environment and also terrible for your wallet. It loses a big fat star for that.

I’d heard a lot of very good things about Shark appliances, so when I got the opportunity to test this vac mop I jumped at the chance.
Out of the box it feels well made, and nice and sturdy. Attaching the mop pads is a simple task once you take a moment to look at it. Then fill the tank with the included detergent cleaner, and (once charged) it’s ready for use. Simply pull the spray trigger to spray some detergent on the area to be cleaned, then turn on the vac and run it over the area to clean up. If you watch closely you can see the liquid being drawn up through the mop head. Once the mop head is ready to be replaced, you can remove the old head without touching it very easily.
But it quickly becomes obvious that it’s not doing a great job. Despite running the mop over the area many times, it always ended up damp. The pads don’t do a great job of scrubbing either, so any dried on dirt took a lot of effort to clean up. On the subject of the pads, they’re a consumable disposable item. So more plastic for the landfill. It’s not very obvious when the pads are used up either, supposedly you can see, but I could figure that out, and just went on when the pad was dirty, which was after every use. Luckily they’re not too expensive at least at around £22 for 30 at time of review.
Put simply however my very much cheaper Vileda spin mop does a much much better job, leaves the floor much dryer, costs way less, and produces almost no plastic waste.
One last point of annoyance. The charging. It uses a non standard charger with an unusual plug (it’s a very small barrel jack). Why? Just use a USB C charger like almost everything else does, which can easily supply the required voltage and current. It’s just more waste and expense that isn’t required.

If your home has flat, hard surfaces and no carpet, this little Shark VacMop is exactly what you need. It combines suction and mopping into one simple unit and delivers excellent cleaning results.
However, it’s not made for uneven floors or carpeted areas. Also, the need to regularly replace pads and cleaner can adds to the long term cost. Still, for light, daily cleaning on hard floors, it’s a solid and convenient tool.

Okay, look, this is great, as a product. It works really well. It vacuums and mops and then you throw away the whole disposable mopping pad and replace it with a fresh one. It’s worked well on the types of hard flooring I have in the house, which is to say linoleum and laminate.
The problem is, I cannot think of the last time I have wanted to vacuum and mop simultaneously. I vacuum carpets, I sweep on hard floors, occasionally I vacuum the hard floors too if I’m concerned about the dustiness… and then occasionally I mop. Wet messes with debris in, in the kitchen or bathroom, are incredibly rare – and that’s what rags are for. Or disposable cleaning wipes, for that matter.
If you absolutely need something that will vacuum and mop for you simultaneously, because you find yourself cleaning wet messes with debris in very, very often, god bless, this is a great one. Outside of that use case, though, spending £99.99 on what is functionally a solution in search of a problem is going to be a waste of money.

Why these two household items haven’t been combined before I do not know, this is such a useful gadget. I have an incontinent little pooch due to his medication and have to constantly clean up accidents.
This Mop/Vac has made this effortless.
It’s easy to set up, by just click the handle together and installing a mop pad (which can be expensive to replace so shop around), then you’re good to go. It’s very lightweight and easy to push along the floor, so will be easy for older users. and when you need to store it you can simply fold it down like you would any walking stick with the Push clip/ Bungy cord combo keeping it all together.
The bottle of cleaning fluid has so far lasted over a month of daily use, so you can make it last, but it’s by no means a big bottle, and the Mop/Vac did come with excessive packaging, felt like a Russian doll opening, it, box within a box within a box, lol
But the vac itself it so easy to use, with a spray button on top and vac button on the bottom you can effortlessly switch between the two when objects are found while mopping.

I recently bought the Vacmop and absolutely love it! It works incredibly well on all types of flooring in my home. Although it’s not specifically designed for pet hair, it still does a decent job—with a dog in the house, that’s a win! I’ve already used it twice since getting it on Monday, and my floors look noticeably clean and shiny.
Unfortunately, this product isn’t available in Ireland yet, so I had to order the cleaning pads and solution through Amazon. The Vacmop takes about four hours to fully charge after use. The small bottle of cleaning solution fits perfectly in its compartment. After cleaning the living room, kitchen, hallway, and two bathrooms, I used up about half the bottle—so I’ll need to restock soon.
What makes it such a handy tool is that it replaces the need to sweep and mop manually. I’ve started using it daily, and it’s hands-down one of the best purchases I’ve made. I’d definitely recommend it, though of course it depends on your specific needs. Just a heads-up: while the suction is fairly strong, it’s not designed to replace a full-sized vacuum cleaner.
