the material is not durable at all, tore on the first use. not suitable for air travel. The baggage area for this travel bag is too robust and the material of this bag snags very easily and tears. got one return trip out this bag and then pretty much had to throw it away becuase it was then unusable. Look away at other items……

We have used these several times on trips to the US, putting two car seats in each bag. The bags have held up well and even after one of them developed a small tear, it didn’t spread and still withstood all the tossing and abuse that the airlines could offer.
I think it is a must-have if you are going to rent a car (it saves lots of money to bring your own seat) and it protects your investments.
Our seats on the last trip were two Graco boosters with backs in one bag and one Graco booster and back and a Maxi Cosi baby seat in the other. We had taken a 1-2-3 Maxi Cosi and a booster in one once before and all travelled well with not even a scratch!
One drawback is they can be unwieldy to carry when full, but carrying it into the airport check-in from your car (or trolley) is a small price to pay to save hundreds on car seat rentals on the other side of The Pond.

We recently purchsed the Sunshine Kids car seat travel bag for a family trip to Italy. The product was priced very competitively and arrived very quickly. On unpacking, it was clear that it would be large enough for our car seat (Even though we had suspected it may not have been) and the car seat fitted very easily and zipped up with no issues.
For the journey, we got the car seat in the bag and loaded through oversized baggage with no problems, however on our arrival in Italy, the travel bag had burst completely up one side. After 1 journey. This left us with a major headache in how were were going to get our car seat back home. The product is clearly not fit for its designed purpose if it can split open like this after just 1 trip. Either way, its to be avoided unless you want to take the chance and spend part of the trip you are on trying to figure out how to get your car seat back home.
In the end we bought some heavy duty masking tape and attempted a repair job, just enough to get it on the plane. However, luckily for us, Pisa airport has a baggage wrapping facility for 10 euros where you can get your bag tightly bound with plastic sheeting (alomost like thick clingfilm).
Next time I will just pay the extra for a car seat to be included in our car hire and dispense with all the hassle it caused us.

I bought this for a holiday to try to protect our car seat when it went in the aircraft hold. I was also encouraged by a few reviews saying it fitted their buggy. I figured a car seat is designed to be thrown about and doesn’t have any delicate bits (unlike the handles and wheels on a buggy) so instead of using it for the car seat I thought I’d see if our Bugaboo Bee Plus fitted when the bag arrived and I saw how huge it was (the bag really is big!). In fact I’d say it’s almost too big for a car seat – our Group 0-1 seat would rattle around in it which rather defeats the purpose. However, our Bugaboo fitted perfectly with a bit of spare room for the buggy parasol, the car seat adapters and a couple of other bits. The bag screwed up and fitted in the buggy basket so we could wheel it all through the airport and then at the gate we just removed the bag and popped the buggy in – perfect! The Bugaboo branded buggy bag costs £90 – this did the same job for £15! I agree that the material isn’t the hardest wearing but the strap was useful and apart from a bit of dust it showed no signs of wear when it came off the carousel on both legs of the journey and protected our buggy’s vulnerable bits from the baggage handlers so I’m really pleased with the product, especially for the price! Definitely a must-have if your buggy can fit in it!

I bought this after reading that it was big enough to hold a baby city mini jogger pushchair. I didn’t want to pay a fortune for a genuine one so thought I would give this a try.
It fits my jogger very easily with plenty of room to spare. We used the bag recently for a holiday abroad. Like others we also put our beach towels in with the pushchair and a few nappies to further protect the pushchair and lighten our suitcases. We took our wheels off and put these in the bag wrapped in a towel but this was only because I didn’t want to risk any damage to the pushchair when rough handled in the airport.
The bag is still in perfect condition, no rips or anything and the zip, handles are still as new. Really can’t fault this bag for the money.
The only downfall was that as it doesn’t have wheels it is very big and heavy to carry with a baby jogger in it. I would have struggled if I was travelling alone with my baby daughter. We did get a few strange looks walking to the plane with this massive bag lol.
When checking in don’t forget to make sure you get your travel label put on the bag not your pushchair.
To sum up this is a very strong bag and excellent value for money. It did the job and we will use it everytime we go abroad now.

I purchased this because another reviewer said that it fitted the Mamas and Papas Luna pushchair. Well I can confirm that it does – as long as handle is folded under pushchair. There was also plenty of room for a parasol and a snooze shade – and could have easily slipped in more things but chose not to just in case they came out. Kept our pushchair clean and dry on a recent flight. Did not rip and popper on the zip tag was useful and stopped the zip coming undone. There is no padding in the bag so if you have a pushchair/ car seat with exposed plastic parts, pad them with nappies or towels – one of our joins on the pushchair snapped off when it was handled by the airline. Would recommend this product – especially for the price.
