I was surprised to see that this baby carrier arrived in just the box with postage labels stuck to it – not actually packaging. A sharp edge would have sliced right through it.
It is beautifully made, and quite robust as well. The clips are very sturdy and there is no danger of them accidentally unfastening. The material is not soft enough though, and will feel a bit abrasive against a newborn baby’s bare skin, so it is vital that the clothing extends all the way down to cover the legs and arms which will come into contact with the carrier. I particularly like the fact that the carrier crosses at the back, but wish the ends of the cross had been just as padded as the shoulders. If you are a petite mother then the carrier may be a tad wide for your shoulders, even with adjustments. The broadness of the straps do compensate for this somewhat.
Sizewise, it will hold a baby up to 3-4 months old comfortably. Unless the carrier is tightly strapped, the head/neck support will not support a newborn’s head at all as it is very floppy – you will have to keep your hand at the fold the entire time otherwise. Indeed, the top supports the baby’s head better with the flap pinned down instead of it flipped up!
I think it’s excellent that the box emphasises the required safety precautions and risks of suffocation for the baby if the carrier is not used properly.
For the price, the quality is good and it will last for a few months while the baby is growing.

A beautifully made newborn baby carrier that is aesthetically pleasing. It has thick padded straps that are easy to adjust to make them shorter or longer and they are the exact same colour as the carrier. The material is of a good quality and I have it in cream/light beige colour. The attachment clips are solid and robust which is very important for what this item is to keep the baby safe while being carried. The lining as well as the padding are both really robustly made too.
The safety instructions (in multiple languages) are very clear and concise and the manufacturers have really have gone out of their way to make this as safe and easy to use. The instruction manual is also very handy and has a lot of information that is very important to read, such as how the baby should be positioned and so on. I would not have realised that the baby should only face inwards and it should not face outward so it is important to make sure all the information provided is read properly.
