It took a few hours to assemble and we had to start again as we did it incorrectly. The installation booklet is not that clear. The lid arrived with a tear in the plastic below the lid. So initial impressions were not great. However, we have it for toys in our garden and it looks smart and is reasonably waterproof. You only get a bit of water inside when you open the lid after it has rained.

At least half of the screws simply wouldn’t fit, the holes are all misaligned. One of the screw threads was broken completely. The lid won’t shut. Shame as it potentially would have looked good.

It looks pretty good for the price, probably easy to put together if you’re handy unfortunately it was my unhandy son who undertook it the job so it took a while!

It is NOT waterproof, all cushions need to be stored inside plastic bags to keep dry, also lining of lid comes away when opening the box and all the water retained on the inside of the lid pours in to the box making everything wet. It was sold as waterproof and it is obviously not so, but having assembled it I cannot return Also the lock is very difficult to open, it breaks your nails, so a knife is needed or a bottle opener to lift the lock. Good storage if needed indoors, apart from the lock.
