I was so excited to not have to deal with noise and cost of gas mower. but at the lowest height setting, this mower does not actually mow. will become a paperweight while I look for a cheap used gas mower. if there is a solution I’m all ears and happy to change my rating.

This is not a good lawn mower. It is too light. The wheels are too small. The blades often get clogged with grass. I would not recommmend this product.

Very good metal construction and smooth action, but has a plastic roller which is crap. It arrived smashed at both ends though the box was undented, and no pieces floating in box, so broken at factory. I would guess the assembled unit was dropped before boxing.
I fixed the roller myself by filling the ends with epoxy and drilling out to accommodate a steel rod axle bent over at the ends. Amazon is of course useless at parts replacement, and I doubt a new roller would be as good as my repair.
That roller seems decidedly un-Husqvarna; and yes I associate the name with better quality. Surely actual use incurs a lot of soft collisions with curbs and posts, and thrusting in and out at various obstacles, which require a robust roller. The old Sears would not turn out such a plastic afterthought.

Well, it fairs as well as any other mower, but when it comes to deep grass, the design is fawed, as it keeps tipping forward, rather than cutting

Assembles easily. Works well. Only complaint is that after picking up a thin stick the stationary blade bent slightly and now makes a noise.

I have been wanting a “manual” human powered lawn mower for some time and I am so pleased I chose this model.

It may be more expensive but it has a good width of cut.

It cuts with very little effort

    It does an excellent job

The only issue, I wish the handle could be left in a more upright position, (it naturally falls to the position in the picture)

The grass box (extra) is OK, you have to keep moving the grass back in the grass box, but it is fine.

Overall I am delighted with this mower.

I have a newly established lawn at a newly built home, and due to the small yard, a reel mower would be just right. Growing up using a reel mower, I loved the beauty of the cut. Old reel mowers had two important parts, the blades, and the roller in the rear that smooths it all out. I never saw it cut, because the roller fell off in the box. Instead of being made of rubber or wood, it was hollow plastic with one of the attachment ends broken off. For this reason I returned it.
