I liked that the blade fit and works well

I have a 54-inch craftsman lawnmower and for three years I replaced the blades with original equipment from sears and for three years I thought the marginal results was simply a bad deck design…until I tried these blades. They are great…they cut everything and sling the clippings forever. I just ordered another set.

Bought these as a replacement for my Craftman garden mower, wonderful product thus far. They are already on the mower, so we’ll see how well they do and last. Bought some from Sears that were double the price, and most were destroyed to the point that they couldn’t even be sharpened.

This is an OEM replacement for the blades that came with the machine. I have tried other designs, but the high lift (strong air flow through the deck) works best at ejecting clippings evenly, and reduces buildup and clogs under the deck. The only minor drawback is that in the dry summer months, especially with mole hills, these babies can kick up a lot of dust, which the neighbors do not appreciate. On very dry, dusty days, I will run my mower at a lower RPM, or switch to a mulching blade.
