Only guide I use. I’ve tried lots of designs. The 2 in 1, bar clamp. Electric.
Different brands types.
Now I only purchase this type

The Husqvarna Filing Kit is easy to use, and the high quality steel file rapidly sharpens each tooth. The filing template ensures the correct angle on each tooth. However, I found the pictorial directions (no words) hard to understand (if you have sharpened chain saws before, you probably don’t need the directions, but this was my first attempt). Fortunately, there was a Husqvarna video on YouTube (but for a different kit), so I was able to figure out how to use the sharpener. My sharpened chain works so much better! I thought the sharpening kit is good value for the price (a new chain would have cost about the same, and now I can sharpen my chain several times before it has to be replaced).

Much better than using a machine. The roller guide helps keep the file at a consistent angle on each tooth. If you sharpen them often, it’s a very quick job and the chain cuts like butter.

Easy to use, and does the job.
