Habe das Gerät seit gestern und hatte es schon im Einsatz. Super. Würde es aber nicht mehr bei dem Verkäufer bestellen. Lieferzeit utopisch.

I bought one a few years ago and have cursed the day I wasted money on it. I used it for all of one day and then it wouldn’t start. I contacted Husqvarna who said it was a problem with the piston and that I must have used neat petrol (which I didn’t because I’m not an idiot). Eventually they fixed it for free, which I think was mostly because I badgered them, refusing to back down on the issue.

The next year a piece of the of the starter mechanism broke. This was because it is made out of plastic and had a steel spring rubbing against it each time the cord was pulled. Who would have thought that would cause the plastic the wear away?

After fixing this the trigger stopped working!! This was due to the fact that all the triggers were all anchored with the smallest, thinnest bit of plastic.

The quality of this product is shockingly poor! It’s obvious that Husqvarna have cut costs during the production of this strimmer, but are still charging a premium price for it, despite it’s obvious defects.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t have a spare £300/400 quid lying about to pay for a new strimmer so this is a big hit for me to Thanks for nothing Husqvarna, I’ll not be buying any of your products again!

Arrived with the clamp that holds the handle bar missing-apparently its no ones fault and I’m left with a machine I can’t use that I spent £450 on-absolutely pissed off with this. What can I do? – nothing.

We have a stretch of land out back that’s about 150′ x 30′, sloping down to a creek. I cleared the trees and smaller growth years ago so we could see the creek, but the grass, weeds and thicker stuff keeps trying to take over again. The Husqvarna 129R makes it really easy for me to clear this growth out. Very happy with this purchase for this job.

First off, not a bad machine for the price range, although I saw a review where someone paid £450 for it!, it’s definitely not worth that…..anyway , works well with the supplied blade, cuts everything I want to cut easily, & is quite comfortable to use, but! The fuel tank is sooo small, lucky to get 20mins work on a full tank, not a problem if you’re doing a small garden, but I often use it for over an hour & that becomes a major issue. On the reliability issue, it went out of adjustment pretty quickly, had to adjust the carb to make it run & second season the throttle cable snapped, which appears to be about £35, if you can find one, last time I looked everywhere was out of stock…conclusion, it’s ok for a domestic machine, but that’s all.I’ve replaced mine with a stihl fs91 which is a far better machine
