   The blade came very dull and no blade cover. I have used this type of brushing tool for clearing survey lines and I had never seen one with this dull of blade. If you buy this product be aware you will need a file to sharpen it.

   Just as advertised. Inch-thick limbs in a stroke, the low weight made it not tiring for repetitive hacking, and the length is easily wielded one-handed or doubled. May need a little linseed oil to keep the wood pretty, but the hatchet and machete may gather some dust.

   The first one of these I bought was in the the early 1980’s. Back then it was called a swedish bush axe. I used it for cleari g lines. I am a land surveyor and I preferred I much preferred it over a machete. It was originally manufactured by Sandvik tools from swede . This latest one I bought is slightly heavyer duty and cost twice what I paid the first time. It stays sharper thana mac

   I needed this years ago! Great for brushing back the undergrowth along the tree line.

   Sharp out of the box and I appreciate the blade cover too!
