Husqvarna Z254 Perfect Fit – Easy Install– My first option which was supposed to filt the Z254 was twice as much money and did not fit at all. This one is very easy to install and come in a Husqvarna box. Well worth the price.

I read previous reviews and was confused about whether this kit would fit my 24V54 Lawn Tractor. It was offered with free return so I was willing to try it. The kit I received was a factory Husqvarna kit in a Husqvarna box. The instructions were a little confusing as far as installing the block off part for the deck. It showed the retainer strap at the back attaching to the top but the hole was drilled on the side. I attached it to the side where the hole was. Installing the cover was a little hard to pull into place as I followed the instructions and hooked the rubber strap to the deck and pulled the cover into place. Installing the frt. retainer strap required a pair of pliers. The blades were pretty straight forward to install. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet but I’m sure it will work fine as I have a similar kit on my Cub and it makes the leaves disappear. The only part that looks like it might wear out is the rubber straps.

I don’t know why they decided to make the mulching cover out of thin plastic. The cover broke on my first use. I will be returning it as soon as possible and fabricating my own cover out of steel (what I should have done in the first place).

This is the correct kit for the TS 154X mower.

Works as stated. Literally took 15 minutes to install. My only complaint is the price! $160+ for 3 blades and a piece of plastic is a bit excessive.
Fit my 54” Craftsman tractor perfectly!
