Really good mattress. Comes rolled up and expands quickly. It has a good balance between comfort and support, the top foam layer is soft enough to cushion pressure points, while the pocket springs underneath give it structure and that slightly firm, responsive feel. It’s about 14cm thick, so not super deep, but enough for everyday use.
We’ve used it as a guest bed, and also tried it out ourselves for a few nights, it holds up well. The medium firm to firm feel works for all sleep positions, and the individual pocket springs do help reduce motion transfer, especially if two people are sharing. It feels well made, not too heavy, and it expanded nicely after unrolling. The breathable sides are a nice touch too, it doesn’t trap heat like some all foam mattresses.

This is a very premium quality thick form matters which is of very high quality. Arrived vacuum packed for protection and returns to true form withing 12 hours in my home. Its very comfortable with two people sleeping on this and we had had very good nights sleeps for over a week on this mattress. It states its made up of individually pockets which I believe make it very comfy to lay and sleep on this. Over the last couple of weeks with the warm nights we have had I found this mattress very cool at night and reducing any discomfort with the heat in the room.

I had been considering whether to go for a full memory foam or a hybrid spring/foam mattress for some time and honestly couldn’t make my mind up. After ordering this one, I immediately felt the difference on a night time as well as the following morning.
This offers really good comfort for lying on my bed and this is definitely noticeable the following day when it’s time to wake up. Support wise, this provides a lot more of it compared to the standard spring one it replaced.
The mattress is thick enough to offer the above advantages but not thick enough to significantly increase my bed height; I’m quite particular about the height I like to sleep as I like my bedside tables to be around the same height as me when I’m laying down.
The overall quality of the mattress is much better than I expected and I don’t feel the need to upgrade to a full foam mattress now I have this.
The mattress also offers good value for money and seems durable.

Very satisfied with this memory foam mattress. Arrives rolled/boxed but doesn’t take long once unpackaged yo expand to its full form. We allowed overnight to fully settle before testing it out. We ordered for our spare room but slept on it to make sure we were satisfied etc. No complaints!
As memory foam mattresses go this definitely offers both support and cushioning and has a little give whilst being firm enough. We both slept really well.

Hauling the sagging old mattress down the stairs felt like evicting a bad tenant. In its place went the Dormeo Essence Hybrid, a roll-up tube that puffed itself to life on the floor like one of those self-inflating camping mats. At 14 centimetres deep it looks modest beside the monster mattresses you see in showrooms, yet it hides a decent recipe, two centimetres of contouring foam sitting on twelve centimetres of pocket springs.
Dormeo calls the feel medium-firm, and that label rings true. My seven-year-old melts in just enough to nod off within minutes, while my ninety-nine-kilogram frame lies flat and steady, rather than bobbing about like I am on a waterbed. The breathable Airmesh panels seem to earn their keep as well; muggy London nights have been less sweaty since the swap.
There is hardly any bounce passed from one side to the other, so the children’s dawn-chorus jumping no longer vibrates through the floorboards. Not everything is perfect, though. The edges are soft, so lacing trainers becomes a wobble-on-the-cliff routine, and that chemical new-foam pong lingered for a good forty-eight hours.
For guest rooms, youngsters, or lighter adults it ticks most boxes. The stitching looks tidier than the rock-bottom budget brands, and turning up in a vacuum-sealed roll makes delivery to a terraced house far simpler. Heavier sleepers might fancy something with deeper comfort layers for the long haul, but for the price this mattress is a respectable step up from the usual spare-room fodder.
