Purchased this because my old lawnmower gave up the ghost. It may be repairable but after 25 years and no maintenance I’ve defo had my moneys worth out of that one and the grass keeps growing all the time. My old mower was an argos special that cost £200 all that time ago- same spec as this wolf but an 18 in cut. Anyway what can I say about the Wolf. Its easy enough to put together. Read the manual and add oil as instructed before 1st use. I filled it with some unleaded and added a little choke and pulled it over with the throttle wide open and it started on the 2nd pull. Its very nippy with the self propel engaged but you can use it without like a push mower for any fiddly spots. I’ve a medium size back lawn about 10X10 metres {100sq metres} and it knocked it down very sharpish. I was surprised how quick it is. Its so quick I had to empty the grass bag quite a few times rather quickly but the grass was quite long as it hadn’t been cut for a while because of the other broken mower. I’m expecting better bag milage on the next cut. Perhaps a slightly bigger bag would be better but I don’t need a huge mower. I don’t need it to last another 25 years as I doubt ill be cutting any lawns at 95 if I live that long. Happy 😁with this machine. Ps Only thing better would have been is if it had been supplied with the oil to go in it. You will need a litre of sae30 lawnmower oil @ about a tenner. Great stuff.

Bought this mower 8th March 2024. Unfortunately the choke/gas unit thumb toggle broke off. Where can I get a replacement? Otherwise a great purchase

This was a good purchase last summer until the a wheel fell off! It was the left wheel which has a metal cog that engages with the plastic cog at the back of the plastic wheel. Utter garbage and unable to be fit for purpose. I do not recommend this product and I have been waiting a week to hear back from the seller with regard to a refund…

its just not good for the price at all 1. its under-powered and can’t cut wet or moist grass at all without cutting out 2. its grass bag opening slot is too small and clogs up on every line you do so you have to keep stopping and putting your hand in to unclog it even with bone dry grass 3 the grass bag fixing mechanism is poorly designed it should be simple to connect and disconnect the bag but its not its ridiculously cumbersome to connect it each time and takes multiple attempts to connect it witch get very old very quickly 4 its self propelled drive belt is located in the cutting chamber witch would be fine if it had good protection i.e a metal casing but it hasn’t its got a plastic cover meaning one pebble or dogs/kids toy comes into contact with the blade it will rip the casing and drive belt apart I have had this happen to me before on and old lawnmower with the exact same layout as this wolf one, that lawnmower was killed by a kids plastic toy boat of around 4cm so if you have kids, dogs or a pebble border/feature please be very careful 5. engine isn’t stable at all it can’t seam to keep a steady rev at all even when stationary it sounds like a clunky old P reg Van I’m not expecting this mower to last me longer than this summer and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless it was half the price and then it would still be a bad deal
