This is a great toy to take to beach as it very portable because it is pretty small. I think this would work best for a toddler, bigger kids will want to make bigger sand castles!

The collapsible buckets are quite useful for carrying water, but don’t form a perfect shape for making perfect sandcastles. Good that they don’t take up much space though. The other plastic items that come with the buckets are rather small and disappointing. Some so small that they would be no use to play with sand. However they might be good for kinetic sand . They are rather flimsy though and not great for taking to the beach.

This beach set is fantastic to transport as the buckets fold flat. It comes with a handy storage bag to keep everything together.
The sand moulds are very small but, for little children, this is ideal.
The colours are very bright and appealing but the plastic moulds are small and a little flimsy.

This is a set of colourful “beach toys” that young kids will love. The recommended age is 3+ years – the Safety Warning (on the box) is: “CHOKING HAZARD – Small parts. Not for children under 3 years or any individuals who have a tendency to place inedible objects in the mouths.”
The set consists of 21 pieces – a spade and a rake, two big collapsible buckets shaped like castles, 16 very small moulds shaped like marine & land animals, and a net bag for storage. The digging tools and buckets seem quite sturdy, however, I have doubts about the moulds as they are made of thin plastic. The toys can be played with anywhere, e.g. a beach, sand pit, garden, and even in the bath.
