Excellent product

This laptop meets all you could want for gaming.
Apart from the appearance which has had a lot of compliments it is so fast no more waiting for games to load up it is virtually instant.
Graphics are as you would expect top notch and takes triple A games to next level.
It is expensive but was easy to set up so no regrets as l absolutely love the performance and quality.

Bought this laptop as i need it for travelling with work and this particular one has exceeded my expectations, incredible machine and would recommend to anyone with similar needs.

The performance is extremely impressive, undoubtedly, but the fans can become noisy and while just doing casual browsing/video streaming, the CPU reaches 100C quite often, this is with a heatpad running at full blast. In games it’s actually almost never dropping below 90C. Idle is around 45-50C. The problem is Acer has not unlocked undervolting which could shave off 5-10C easily. For the longevity concern, you’d want to be able to undervolt. And 1 year warranty for a nearly 2 grand laptop? Seriously? I’m just waiting to see what Acer comes back with or I’ll have to return it. If anything breaks, like the CPU due to running at excessive heat levels for a long time, then you’d have to shell hundreds of pounds after to sort it. All my previous ASUS ROG laptops allowed undervolting and as such I could keep the temps in check (reason why they all still work to this day!). It doesn’t give me any peace of mind this way!

expensive but it does what is supposed to do! DMZ has 150 Fps on maximum details, and AC Valhalla has 140 Fps on maximum. the only reason for 4 stars is the sound! I have an older laptop that sounds much better than this!
Headphones head –
The media could not be loaded.
Performance wise it lacks, even in some tasks compared to my old Asus ROG laptop which in theory has a worse CPU and GPU with less RAM and storage.
It struggles to multitask surprisingly.
Overheats easily.
Boots programs slowly.
Doesn’t run games as well as you’d hope for it’s product specs.
The build quality also feels plasticy including one of the keys on the keyboard (the shift key) already failing.
Edit: The shift key is getting worse by the day, maybe a faulty spring or something but this shouldn’t be happening on a laptop that’s barely a week old. It is already sticking to a point where it is seriously noticeable in games AND just general typing.
I will be seeking an immediate replacement and or refund.

Great visuals, very bright and crisp. Build is great and fully metal apart from base. but as mentioned in title is is the heaviest laptop ive owned. gaming is good, high fps and looks stunning on this display
