We chose this model from AEG as we did not want the extra complexity and have no need for ‘steam washes/programs’
Likes:
Written instruction manual which explains the programs
The overall finish and qualify feel of the washer
The detergent draw is easy to pull out and clean
Sensible wash programs – varied enough to cater for all you need yet not complicated to set up
Large opening door that opens almost right back – great for narrow kitchens or utility rooms
Dislike:
Due to the curvature of the washer front from top to bottom, we found that it was not ideally suited for siting under our kitchen worktop with adjacent units. When fitted with the mid section of the front washer panel flush with the other units, we couldn’t open the detergent and softener drawer sufficiently to fill it. Is was therefore necessary to pull the machine forward so the front protruded around 25mm. As the door sticks out a further 20mm or so from the front panel, that means it is forward around 55mm in total.
