Had a bit of a metallic tang at first but disappeared after a few boils of water. It is a very nice kettle with a good pouring spout. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and if you want to, polish up with a dry cloth. Looks good as well. Not too noisy, any more than any other kettle. I like it.

Great value for money, nice quality and easy to use. It’s got a clear window to show you the water level, the lid flips open easily and comfortably with your thumb to fill, it has concealed element and is cordless. Pleasantly surprised at how good the kettle is- bought as a second kettle to use for a hospitality tray in the bedroom but actually using this one in the kitchen as I like it better than the one I already had! ( only negative thing – I wouldn’t say it’s particularly ‘quiet boil’ but it’s no noisier than any other electric kettle I’ve used)

I bought this as a “stand by” electric kettle and it is a good product. The kettle has everything you want and heats up quickly fairly quietly and pours without making a mess. The pricing was very reasonable for this kind of stainless steel electric kettle. It is handy being cordless and can be used in loads of household locations. Very happy and I would buy again.

I gave this kettle a good review earlier but now I am retracting my statement as this Aigostar Electric Kettle, 1.7L is rubbish, it worked well and was quite for a few days but after the few days it sounded like there was explosion’s inside the kettle, very loud cracks and pops, the noise of this kettle was almost unbearable, my advice is to buy some other kettle as you will be very disappointed if you buy this

Nice kettle , simple to use, works well , just be careful not to touch the outside of it after it’s boiled or you’ll burn yourself !
