First let me say that so far this product does exactly what it should – it heats water. But, in my opinion, it is quite dangerous.
The major issue is the kettle has no separate base (contrary to the user guide) so is directly connected to the cable and ergo the plug BUT the cable length is only about 12 to 15 inches long. So if your socket is on the skirting board like mine, you need to either boil the kettle on the floor, or buy a separate extension. You then need to unplug the kettle both to pour out the very hot contents and when you need to fill it with water.
Maybe not unsolvable issues but issues to be aware of.

Worked flawlessly. Robust enough, easy to use, and the cups + spoons are very handy too. Yes, the mains cable is quite short, but I didn’t encounter a problem with it.

The design of the switch is defective. I bought a second one because the first one could not switch on anymore, and just before, it was tripping off the electricity. We thought ok, small camping kettle… The kettle itself is very nice. The second one we just bought, the switch just came on by itself, fortunately we smelt it. A very dangerous kettle requiring to ensure supervision when in use, and unplug afterward. Very disappointed, a dangerous waste of money.

Made a perfect cup of tea, the cups are a bit small but I just used one I borrowed from the buffet breakfast table.
