This is my second air fryer. This one is by far the best of the bunch. Easy to clean, it is not obnoxiously loud especially the beeping, has loads of preprogrammed functions, admittedly I just set temp and time and let it do it’s thing. Easy to use and produces tasty food.

Ok honest review here (I have personally purchased this machine) none of the free product reviews have seemed to have noticed in the 3rd product picture it shows the dimensions of the machine, I was a little worried this was going to be a mega tall airfryer as it shows 403.84mm (around 40cm) Tall! But thought I’d give it a go anyway as I really loved how modern this air fryer looks. This measurement is actually not the height it’s the measurement of the rear to front including the handle at it most protruding point. It’s actually around 30cm tall so it fits in nicely to its surroundings.

Now down to the only niggle I have found with this air fryer is… Firstly you have clearly purchased this model due to the viewing window. So as expected the light turns on when powered on and selecting temperature or preset and time. Now when you press start within the first minute of cooking the light turns itself off. Yes that’s right off! The air fryer does have a touch screen button to turn the light off and on so you have to press this once every time to get the light back on. Now let’s say your meal is half way through cooking and you pull out the pan to give everything a good shake and mix up. When you put the pan back into the airfryer cooking resumes but again the light will turn off within the first minute of resumed cooking so you have to press the light button again! This is only a minor niggle but soon gets annoying as when the light goes off you can’t see through the window as it’s too dark inside. Now the only reason I think Phillips have programmed this air fryer to do this would be to achieve lower energy consumption ratings. Upon testing this theory with the light on during cooking it does infact use more wattage of power when the light is on however not enough to cause concern or even think that I must keep the light turned off. Every time I see these free product reviews it’s always 5 star and I do question myself have they actually used it to review or just took a photo out of the box to then sell on elsewhere.

Apart from this i think it is a really good air fryer and this niggle hasn’t stopped me from returning the item as the cooking performance is great and I really love how it looks in my kitchen too. If Philips ever reads this, please design your next window air fryer to have the light stay on (do keep the option to manually turn off light if wanted) but keep that light illuminated durning cooking please, this is why consumers opt for the window version.

I have been getting into cooking recently, and this has added a lot of value to my daily cooking. I can air fry items which would usually require a lot of oil such as chicken fillets, and this has been a game changer in terms of my general health and skin.
I wish I’d bought the version with the viewing window, but the non-viewing window one is pretty good too. I can quickly pause and check the status of my items within the tray, and re-inserting the tray unpauses the timer and begins cooking from where it left off.
One random thing I discovered is that one can boil eggs in an air fryer. I just pop in some refrigerated eggs for like 14 mins at around 135c, and they come out close to perfect. No need to wait for the water to boil and such.
    Overall, I’d rate it 10/10.

I like the size and neatness of the fryer. It seems sturdy and does the job well. The process can be interrupted to look at the cooking and just by sliding the draw back in with a satisfying click allows the process to continue. Easy to clean, no bad points.

This was my first time cooking something in an AirFryer, it was so easy to use, just got the temperature and time from ChatGPT😆 and put it in and it worked like a dream, not sure if I heard a finishing beep because I was in my room. Sound is pretty low and the chicken turned out so well cooled inside, my easiest experience of frying something.

Regarding the size, I did not expect it to be so big looked pretty small in the images. The size capacity can fit an entire big enough Chicken into it. If you are the only person using it i’d rather get the smaller version however the window is nice to have and I can turn the light on whenever I like.

Just buy it, its pretty good, but i’ve to see how it holds up long term

I buy compact air fryers are I have limited space on my work tops. This is the 3rd Philips air fryer bought over a good few years and have to say this is the best we’ve had as it’s lightweight not as tall as the others and sits perfectly in the corner of our kitchen. We just use it for the basics, chips, and small meat portions and it cooks very well. This one doesn’t have a full basket, its just a trivet in the bottom of the drawer which is less to clean.
