Nice watch, not great for non-cardio metrics, unfortunately standard features of other brands are paid for with the app.
Happy but will probably be a spare. The app is good but not worth the cost from available information. Comfortable to wear

This is a great Smart Watch that’s for sure.
The size is perfect. It looks perfectly proportioned for me, a man with about average wrist size. The operation of all the apps seems flawless and having had a cheaper smart watch I really appreciate the enhanced notifications from the messaging apps and anything that needs to send alerts.
I love the always on display, but of course you pay for that with reduced battery life. I considered deducting a point for the short ish battery life (maybe 4 days for me), but it charges up so quickly that by the time I’ve shaved and showered, it’s back up to nearly 100% charge.
The reason for the deduction of half a star is that the display isn’t as bright as the cheaper (1/6th of the price) smart watch i’ve just upgraded from. That watch, the Haylou RS4, had an amazingly bright screen and brilliant battery life, but of course being cheaper it wasn’t an always on display. Maybe that manufacturer could be more generous with the brightness as they didn’t have to worry about an always on watch face.
Another half star was deducted because you can’t change the length of time the Watch stays on the brighter watchface. You get the illusion that you can, but the ‘Screen-on Duration’ time adjustment only applies to how long the screen goes bright on a notification, not the length of time when you turn your wrist to view the watchface.
I think the developers should let me decide if I want a brighter display on the watchface at the expense of the battery, and likewise let me decide if I want a second or two longer to absorb the info the watchface can show me.
That said, I’d recommend this watch in a heartbeat, but please developers, give me a bit more choice of how I use the precious battery charge.

Great watch for the price. Easy to check anything about your health and performance during the day

It was a great watch while it worked – accurate, battery life was 2 or 3 days with always on screen (satisfactory, just)
Trouble is, it’s just completely packed in after only 2 years and 3 weeks (just out of warranty).
Quick bit of googling suggests I’m not the only one – seems a common problem, not just with this model but quite a few Amazfits.
Amazfit themselves just say ‘out of warranty’ and won’t replace.
150 quid smartwatch only lasts 2 years ??? Joke.
AVOID !!

I recently upgraded from a Huawei Watch Fit to the Amazfit GTS 3. It’s a lovely looking watch, not too big on my small wrists. I love the app, as it’s full of features and is simple to understand. I’ve found the tracking elements to be pretty accurate, especially when hiking. Heart rate monitor and sleep tracking are both useful features too. The only downside I’ve found is the swimming tracking feature, which takes a bit of getting used. Often I’ll come out the water to discover the tracking had stopped half way through the swim, which is not ideal. Otherwise a brilliant bit of kit for the cost.

Great fitness watch all round, seems better and longer lasting than the FitBit I have bought my husband twice! Looks like an Apple watch, without the hefty pricetag !!

I have had this watch for around 6 weeks wearing it everyday, except when showering. This watch is great, I usually get around ten days from the battery, I use it everyday and have worn it while sleeping for the sleep tracking. Step count seems to be pretty accurate. Heart rate monitor seems to be close to what it should be, had to have a blood pressure monitor on for a few days and the difference between both was 3-5 BPM. I use the watch with my iPhone 13 on iOS 16 and I can view messages and emails on the watch even iMessages. Both apple health and the fitness apps pull data from the watch/app so you are able to leave the phone while going for runs/walks and once the watch has synced with the phone will pull all the data needed. For the price and features I cannot fault the watch. It would be possible for the battery to last the 14+ days if certain features were turned off but I think 10+ days on a charge is more than acceptable. The strap the watch is supplied with is silicone but I have changed to a 3rd party strap as I wanted an woven elasticated one. Overall the watch and Zepp app (which has to be downloaded) are both user friendly and easy to use.
