   I bought this Air Fryer an an Amazon warehouse deal. Save for a couple of issues due to being a refurb, including a few scratches and a dead spider the size of a garden pea in the box, in my opinion this air fryer seems well built, but it has pros and cons.

   First at all, since manufactures cannot be bothered to provide accurate measurements, and the thousands of customers are only able to says “it fits my kitchen nicely”, let me start with some measurements first.

   The unit is 32CM tall x 28CM wide x 38CM deep (due to the protruding handle and a cable strain relief on the back).

   This comes with a double basket configuration, with an outer basked attached to the front of the “drawer”, which is used to collect oil and juices, and an inner perforated basket where you actually cook the food which is attached to the handle.

   The outer basket is approximately 20.8CM x 21.5CM, with rounded edges, while the inner basket is 18.5CM x 19CM.

   The positives:
   – The unit looks well made and the the plastic does not seem flimsy.
   – On the inside, there is a metal lining all over, and you can see an aluminium fan with small fins above the heating element.
   – The digital display is simple to use: one button turns the unit on or off, another starts and pauses cooking, and a third button allows you to select either the temperature, or the time, with the plus and minus buttons to adjust them.
   – Temperature and time are displayed separately.
   – While cooking the timer counts down and also shows seconds.
   – The unit does switch off as soon as you take the drawer out, and resumes cooking when you put it back in.
   – A soft touch bytton allows you to put the fryer on stand-by but there is no physical on/off switch.
   – The noise is audible but tolerable.

   The negatives:
   – In my opinion, the silver and black look is atrocious, although although I like the medium sized blue segment display.
   – It filled the kitchen with a distinctive plastic smell when I turned it on even at just 80 degrees.
   – The double basket in my opinion is a gimmick, as while it may help with air circulation and whatnot, it also means you need to clean TWO baskets every time you use the unit.
   – The metal used for the baskets is so thin that even folded on itself the thickness is about 1/5 of a millimetre. The baskets are basically as thick as a greeting card. Because of this, I doubt the non stick coating covers the edges properly, and the baskets will rust as it usually happens with baking trays from the pound shop.
   – Speaking of metal, when inserting and removing the drawer, it is possible the outer basket will rub against the metal lining within the air fryer. This could result in the non-stick coating on the bottom of the basket to scratch and peel off.

   I think an air fryer using a simpler single round basket design, with a perforated insert could be a better choice, as you may be able to find a decently made aluminium pot in the same size and use it to replace the cheap basket said air fryer comes with, when this will inevitably fall apart. 🙂

   J’ai longtemps hésité à faire cet achat. Ne serait-ce pas un nouveau bidule dans ma cuisine ? Finalement je l’ai reçu en cadeau d’anniversaire et très honnêtement c’est très sympa. Amoureux des frites vous serez déçus si vous vous attendez à une cuisson croustillante c’est tout de même différent d’une friteuse classique. Néanmoins la prise en main est très aisée car j’avoue être assez paresseuse en matière de lecture des modes d’emploi… mais là franchement c’est très facile et la cuisson pour moi est top je me fait des hauts de cuisses de poulet ou des pavés de saumon accompagnés de légumes frais et c’est vraiment très bon. Pour le poulet la peau est croustillante et le gras retombe dans la cuve pour le saumon il faut bien respecter la cuisson préconisée sur la machine et c’est parfait en tout cas à mon goût ! Je ne suis pas une cordon bleue et la cuisine n’est pas vraiment un plaisir mais là c’est tellement facile et rapide que je n’ai plus d’excuses. Attention pour les familles à partir de 3 personnes faites attention à la taille de la cuve sinon vous mangerez à tout de rôle mais pour une voire deux personnes c’est très bien. La grille et la cuve passent au lave vaisselle.

   I bought this air fryer as a Christmas present .He has now used it and think its amazing.If my friend is happy then I am happy.He thought it was simple to use ,The chicken was cooked to perfection.Cleaning was a doddle

   Funciona perfectamente todo lo que quieras, desde congelados hasta patatas fritas caseras. El único inconveniente es que viene con enchufe de otro país que no es España y hay que comprar el adaptador.

    La freidora de aire llego con unos cuatos meses desde que la pedimos la pedimos sin extock, con lo cual ya sabes que no llega inmediatamente, dicho esto es lo esperado:
    – Facil de limpiar.
    – Capaciada de 4l
    – Calidad precio bueno
    – Tarda un poco mas de lo indicado para cocinar( las patatas no son 20 m sino 25m) ya lo habia visto en los comentarios, un consejo ves mirando a cada ratito y remueve ( no solo a mitad ).
    – Con los alimentos no grasos es aconsejable poner un poco de aceite de oliva preferiblmente con un rociador, los alimetos como panceta no es necesario y quedan muy bien solo aliñados con sal.
    – Para 2 personas se puede, posiblemente hacer toda la cena en la freidora, pero para una familia de 4 o 5 como nosotros no es posible hace falta usar la vitro, como pasaba en las freidoras de aceite, cocinas en la sarten (carne, pescado…) y complementas con la freidora ( patatas, verduras…), no es que no se pueda hacer, es que cuando has hecho por ejemplo la carne, pones las patatas y cuando estas acaban la carne despues de 25m estan fria.
    – Hemos sustituido nuestra vieja freidora de aceite por esta, se gasta mucho menos aceite
    En resumen no esperes milagros si sois mas de 2 en casa y quieres usar solo la freidora tendra que comprar dos es estas( o una mucho mas grande), pues cuanto mas comida le pongas logicamente tarde mas en hacer la comida, dicho esto estamos contentos gastamos menos aceite, se limpia mucho mejor y es mas sano. Como ya hemos dicho es sustituir una freidora de aceite por esta.
