Die Anancyl Akku-Hecken- / Gartenschere funktioniert nur mit einem Makita-Akku, der nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten ist. Der 18-Volt-Maktia Akku ist voll kompatibel und lässt sich ohne Probleme installieren. Das Gerät ist aus Kunststoff verarbeitet und liegt daher recht leicht in der Hand. Die Gartenklingen sind bereits vorinstalliert und als Gartenschere zum Kantenschneiden von Gras ist das Teil bestens geeignet. Als Heckenschere aber eher nicht, man kann damit maximal Buchsbäume zurechtschneiden, aber für einen richtigen Heckenschnitt ist die Leistung dann doch zu schwach, zumal man nur “Zweiglein” schneiden kann, denn schon bei 1cm-dicken Ästen ist das Gerät überfordert und verbraucht auch zu viel Akku-Leistung. Beim Ausschalten muss man aufpassen, da die Heckenklinge etwas nachläuft, unter dem Sicherheitsaspekt ist das nicht optimal. Dann doch lieber als Gras-Trimmer einsetzen, zumal das geringe Gewicht dafür sorgt, dass man nicht so schnell ermüdet und die Schere gut bewegen kann. Eine Bedienungsanleitung ist dem Ganzen auch beigefügt, die sogar mit akzeptablem Deutsch aufwartet. Aufgrund der Sicherheitsschwäche (Nachlaufen) erhält das Gerät jedoch zwei Punkte Abzug.

Die Heckenschere macht einen recht mittelmäßigen ersten Eindruck. Die verwendeten Materialen wirken einfach, alle beweglichen Teile haben ziemlich viel Spiel.
Für die Nutzung benötigt man einen Akku im 18V-Makita-Format. Nach Einbau nimmt man das (in dieser Preiskategorie erwartungsgemäß) laute, relativ hochfrequente Betriebsgeräusch wahr, was eher nach Küchenutensil denn Gartengerät klingt. Beim Startvorgang und auch im laufenden Betrieb ist sichtbarer Funkenschlag im Gehäuseinneren zu sehen, was entweder bedeutet, dass mein neu ausgepacktes Exemplar ein massives technisches Problem hat, oder (wahrscheinlicher) schlichtweg kein bürstenloser Motor verbaut ist, wie in der Artikelbeschreibung angepriesen.
Zugutehalten muss man dem Hersteller die konsequente Verwendung von Metall für alle beweglichen Teile, allerdings weiß man hier nichts über die Güte, und gemessen am Rest des Produkts wird es wahrscheinlich kein ballistischer Sicherheitsstahl sein. Das Ganze nützt aber auch herzlich wenig, wenn die Halterung selbst aus wackeligem Kunststoff besteht, vom Eindringen von Fremdkörpern und Dreck ganz zu schweigen.
Insgesamt kann ich dieses Produkt daher nicht empfehlen, selbst für einfache Ansprüche ist die gebotene Qualität und Konstruktion meiner Meinung nach zu schlecht. Entsprechend sind die verlangten 46€ (oder jeder andere Preis) auch nicht angemessen.

If you only have some light garden work for this then you will not be disappointed.
I think it’s reasonably obvious though, just from the shape/style that this is not a tool for repeated heavy duty work.
Whilst we’re stating the obvious (and it is clearly advertised) you will need to supply your own Makita battery and charger, these are not supplied.
You get 2 attachments, the shears and the hedge trimmer and these are easy to change over and are great at their light duties.
The grass shears are great but with this been a smaller handheld tool then you are going to be down on your hands and knees to use it, but this does make this really useful for those smaller trickier shaped borders.
The hedge trimmer also works really well, for lighter trimming jobs it works really well, just don’t expect to wade through heavy duty jobs and thicker branches.
As long as you have the battery(s) and charger and only want a lightweight tool for lightweight jobs then you will not be disappointed.

This is a nice piece of equipment that is good quality and does its job well. It’s amazing how you find so many different uses for it once you have got it and the results are impressive.
Weighing in it only 1.7 lb it is Lightweight, easy to use and extremely portable. It’s powerful as well and can comfortably do a good job without too much strain and the adjustable head means it is versatile in terms of cutting angle.
All that said, it seems really strange to supply it without a battery. These can be expensive and turn what is a decent value product into quite an dear one depending on which battery you get. That’s a mistake in my opinion.

This 2 in one trimmer comes packaged in a cardboard box with an instruction manual and two quickly removable blade attachments.
As clearly stated in the listing there is no battery or charger and to use you will need a Makita or compatible battery and charger.
I have a couple of Makita batteries (non original) one 5.5Ah and the other 2Ah.
The 5.5Ah battery is more suitable for this trimmer as it has the capacity to provide enough power to the brushless motor to make it perform better.
The grass shears worked well and were much more convenient for limited edge trimming than getting out the strimmer, also they are able to get into confined spaces better.
The hedge trimmer attachment is only suitable for light work on thin stems. The design of the cutting blades prevent stems larger than 8mm dia being cut, but for shaping box hedging, or lavender it performs well.
The hedge trimmer blade is quite thin and flexible and like the grass shears is made of stainless steel.
The blades are quickly interchangeable released by buttons left and right of the motor. LM grease is needed on the moving parts exposed on removing the blade and a light oil regularly applied to the moving parts of the cutting blades to reduce wear.
You will need a brush to regularly remove debris from the moving parts, none supplied.
The angle between the handle and the cutting blades is adjustable by pressing in the buttons positioned between the motor and the handle. This gives seven available positions and is the reason why this has 4 not 5 stars. It is only in the last position that the handle is firm to the motor body, in all the others although it is locked there is significant wobble. This while not dangerous, it does not inspire confidence, as the manufacturing tolerances for this part are clearly not tight enough.

Leider waren bei mir sowohl Gras- als auch Heckenschere schon nach dem ersten Einsat beim Schneiden von Ziergras stumpf.
