I bought this for use at work, with a big possibility it could get damaged as I work in construction. i didn’t want to spend a fortune. I’ve got Sonos around my house but obviously didn’t want to pay that kind of money for it to be covered in dust within 24 hrs.
I can honestly say I was amazed with the sound quality of this for the money and its size! I used it for around 7 hours on the first day at moderate volume and it didn’t even lose 1 bar of battery. overall for under £50 its worth it all day long. wish I’d of purchased sooner

I already had an Anker Sound Core 2 mainly for attaching to my Amazon Echo Dot. It work s very well, so when I got another Echo Dot I naturally thought of buying another Sound Core 2, in fact I had already added it to my basket. Then I noticed that a refurbished Sound Core Boost was on offer for a couple of pounds less. Having a bit more power and bass boost option, I didn’t hesitate to change my order and I am so glad I did. The sound coming from this tiny but quite heavy box is incredible, the sound is crisp with detailed highs and, with the option on the bass notes are rich and full. I’ve listened to classical, jazz and some rock so far (having only received it today) all sound brilliant and rich. I may keep my eyes peeled for an Anker Pro + 25W on an offer if I can think of something I need to connect to it! Oh I nearly forgot to mention, even though this unit is so compact it still seems to deliver a convincing stereo image.

I cannot grumble with the sound quality of the sound core boost its pretty impressive for the price and as this was a certified refurbished item from anker it made it roughly the same price as the regular soundcore. This was purchased as a replacement for my wife’s soundcore which has been a cracking little speaker which has traveled everywhere with us. This is probably our 4th anker product that we’ve bought and everyone I’ve been pleased with. This review would have been a 5* review if it hadn’t have been for one small issue which caused me a bit of annoyance. When I opened the box to check the speaker as I was aware it was a refurbished item I noticed there was no charger in the box and after checking the original purchase listing it never mentioned one would be missing so as it was intended to be a present I had to purchase one from an alternate source as my wife wanted the present early as we had friends round and the speaker was required. I think it wouldn’t have hurt to either mention it or even better pop one in the box after the refurbishment work is completed. Which is why I’ve took a star off. But having said all that I’d still recommend and purchase anker products myself again in the future.

J ai commander cette enceinte Bluetooth car mon ancien a lâcher…. Je le reçois il y a 30 mns et immédiatement je le met en marche et il marche un peut et des que l on monte le son un peut , la musique s arrête… ca coupe et ca ne fonctionne plus .. j ai refait le processus 3 fois, et j’ai eu le meme résultat..J ai appeler Amazon pour le renvoi et remboursement… 🤷🏼♂️ UPDATE: apres avoir discuté avec Alami du service client , qui as su prendre mon dossier en main, et avec diligence fait un renvoie immédiatement d un nouveau produit de remplacement.. je l ai recue, malgré avoir dejas acheter un autre exemplaire car ce produit a um son qui sort de l ordinaire.. je vous conseille cet enceinte Soudcore a tous !

The sound quality on this speaker is up there with my Bose surround plus that I have at home. For its size this speaker is LOUD! And to top that, I’ve had this speaker for more than a year, used every day and the battery lasts 3 days (6-7h per day).

Really good sound and build quality. The only thing I want to complain about is the “up” bass feature. It only works on lower volumes. On high volume it keeps trying to compensate for the lack of more bass performance by lowering the volume or just changes the eq dynamically and it sounds meh. It works well on mid and lower volumes though.

As you can see in the photos I unboxed the speaker to this! Lots of cosmetic marks and looks like the speaker has been very well used. After turning the volume up the speaker was rattling at high volume which sounded like one of the drums has been very worn out. I believe this was an older model of the speaker as well as it didn’t have usb-C connection and I was unable to connect to the soundcore app which the ‘upgraded’ version should do. Avoid this ‘renewed’ product and buy the original as I believe this is still a good product but not as a renewed one.
