Having purchased and returned a fire tv cube due to audio synch and power reboot issues, i decided to give this a try. This is far superior in every way, and I don’t understand how something so small has so many capabilities. It is so fast when browsing the menu, and things like screen mirroring is just seamless. Video and audio is top notch and it is so simple to use.

Setup was incredibly easy – up and running in minutes with no fuss. Streaming is smooth and responsive, with excellent picture and sound quality across all apps. The added Ethernet port gives extra reliability for 4K content. The box itself is compact, sleek and well-built, and it runs quietly. Powered by a simple cable – no bulky adapters. A premium device with generous storage, making it great value for money if you’re deep in the Apple ecosystem.

This far outweighed my expectations – even at the price! Picture quality is bright, clear and steady even with fast moving action and thats with all apps. The remote control, once you have gone into settings and set it to click only (a personal preference) is made of stainless steel and feels really nice. Make sure that you have a USB C charging lead for this as it’s not provided. The apps come from the APPstore and so there is some certainty that they will work. I know this is silly but I just love that as you scroll from left to right and back to left through the apps the accompanying sound follows you. I tad expensive BUT worth it if you can afford it. What I would likee to see added – the BBC Sounds app but it does support AirPlay and so you can connect to sounds via you iPhone or iPad.

In my experience, the 2022 Apple TV 4K is something you just kind of have to see to believe. It’s like Apple took all the great features we loved in the previous versions and just cranked them up a notch. Firstly, the 128GB storage is a game-changer for anyone tired of the ‘insufficient storage’ notifications. Now, you can download apps, games, and… well, whatever else, without watching the storage bar like a hawk.But let me talk about the Wi‑Fi and Ethernet combo. In our household, where streaming can feel like a competitive sport, the consistent, stable connection is a lifesaver. Whether my family is binge-watching a new series in 4K or streaming live events, it handles everything we throw at it effortlessly.The interface? Ultra-smooth. I know Apple products are kind of famous for their intuitive design, but they’ve really nailed it with this one. Switching between apps is seamless, and, come to think of it, I haven’t had any of those annoying lags that make you want to hurl the remote across the room.Picture quality also earns a resounding applause. The vibrant colors and crisp details are so impressive that I caught myself actually admiring the digital rain in a movie scene the other night. Yeah, I know.Overall, I tend to think this Apple TV is a solid investment for tech enthusiasts and casual users alike. It really elevates the home entertainment experience. Now I just need to figure out how to reclaim the remote from the kids… or maybe that’s for another day!

this is a great value product from apple – a company not renowned for great value products. simple interface that’s easy to use with some quite clever and deep features and integrations built into it.
Rubbish bits 1. siri remote works as poorly as siri always does on other apple products 2. TV OS could do with more apps eg Find My 3. Only supports two Bluetooth 5 connections 4. 2022 A15 bionic chip is fairly old now 5. Default screensavers are limited and the Snoopy one very childish and pathetic (I don’t like snoopy 😉 but the wife does) 6. remote control moving circle thingy is overly sensitive 7. currently I have an issue with it stuttering on the youtube app but nothing else

I have this linked to a 55″ oled LG C2, and it works lovely, looks amazing, and in typical apple fashion, it works flawlessly with everything, especially with apple devices! I was always androiud/ windows, i bought a macbook air in the end, then a watch, then the apple tv, and the connectivity is great. you can use your apple phone to control it too, which actually is quite useful, eg if you have apps that require email login you can type the user/pass on your apple phone, sounds a small thing, but it is so nice not to have to scroll along a list of letters! I use it with an IPTV service, plus disney plus, paramount plus apps etc, and it all, just , works! great sound great picture, and so fast compared to TV, even my reasonable spec LG Oled C2 , it is just such a smooth experience on the Apple tv!

Arrived well packaged brand new in box, talked to someone who’d already got one, recommended the 64gb as its plenty, runs all the usual apps like Netflix Prime Disney etc, unlike our TV which doesn’t and is so slow in comparison, typical apple product just works and quickly, remote feels quality but is small especially if you have hands like shovels, even with my massive fingers the swipe thing works, would recommend, best TV box we’ve ever had, only thing that comes close is LG Web OS when it first sets up, used this now for a few months, no stupid update or slow downs just works, only off put is the price. In my opinion its worth it to avoid the headaches of ‘oh god its updated and crashed again’. Use a quality HDMI cable with it as its very capable of a nice picture.
