Sadly comes with an unofficial black strap and white charger (but I have a real Apple Sport band from a previous watch). Overall battery works great and it arrived with no scratches or dents. There was although some dead skin all over the buttons and microphone but it was cleanable. The battery is way better than I expected I am able to charge the watch fast and use sleep tracking (only when charged to 100% before bed) because the watch goes into a sleep mode mode and I can sleep through the night while waking up with around 85-95%. Haven’t tried water resistance in the ocean yet but hopefully it will work. I highly recommend getting this because you save a lot of money in the process. 10/10

I bought the Apple Watch 4 in what says was in “Excellent Condition”. Like many of you reading these reviews, I was slightly skeptical to be purchasing a “renewed” product as it IS second-hand so I did prepare yourself to inevitably see little scratches on the watch, and it won’t come in it’s original box and contents (It’s specifically written on the Amazon renewed webpage).
I want to write a non-biased review (no I wasn’t paid to write this plus I bought this product with my own money) because I’m sure many of you guys are in the same position as me, limboing between buying a new product or a “renewed” one. For me, after being an Apple user for more than 10 years this is my first Apple Watch and I merely bought this to help me track my sleep at night and don’t plan to use it outside often (as I don’t need to workout or check my notifications on it), and surprise surprise, once you fall into the Apple trap you’ll have to stick with Apple products(!) Obviously everyone will buy the watch for different purposes, but this is mine, hence why I didn’t go for a fancy expensive or new Apple Watch.
With that being said, the Watch, strap and charging cable was all delivered in good strong packaging and really quickly too! (In 2 business days UK delivery)
The watch itself looked in amazing condition, true to the description of “Excellent Condition” whereby there ARE cosmetic scratches around the watch (mine has one big scratch, pictured, plus a few tiny ones but isn’t obvious) but the screen was fresh without scratches. The crown and the back of it looked in great condition too. The watch strap is new although it isn’t legit Apple (as some reviews complained about) but that doesn’t bother me considering this is my first watch so I didn’t even notice! Finally, the Battery Health on this watch is 98% which is WAY BETTER than I expected (I hope it’s real haha)!
So overall, I cant complain about my purchase. Thank you to the seller DigitalTechno! Maybe I got lucky, but I guess you get what you paid for. So if you buy your watch especially in “Good” and “Acceptable” condition, then please be prepared to receive your device in a second-hand used state.. it obviously won’t be pristine. Once you accept this then you can buy anything “renewed” from Amazon and overlook the condition and not feel ripped off, like me. 🙂

I got a watch at 94% which is still great.
Few light scratches and micro ones. Tiny little dent on a corner and scratches. It was so minuscule I didn’t care. Other than that it performed excellent. No problems just light cosmetic. Once I put a case on it, You or anyone couldn’t tell it was renewed at all.

Reading some of the reviews was a little concerned before I bought, particularly regarding battery life.
I have charged this new watch every 24 hrs with still 10 % power left in watch. This is the best life on any of my previous Series 4 watches. I used my original apple charger, so cannot compare with one supplied, although it looks ok and well packaged within the sturdy outer package. Watch Immaculate condition and all apps operating satisfactorily.
It was also delivered a day early by Royal Mail. Very impressed.

The only thing ‘renewed’ about this watch was the strap and charger, which are new unofficial accessories. They work fine and if I was precious about that I probably wouldn’t be looking at renewed products in the first place.
The watch arrived in a massive outer box and was then poorly tucked into an inflatable plastic wallet for protection. Plug was in a plastic baggy, cable new and sealed in original packaging. Not fancy, but successful as the watch arrived undamaged in transit.
The battery was completely flat. It took 20 minutes to charge enough to turn on. These devices should be stored around half-charged to maintain battery health, so that was a worry… it took about 4 hours to fully charge and another hour to update the iOS, which was well out of date. Then I could check the battery health in the phone’s settings, which is a great new feature, and it showed 99%, so the battery actually seems fine. It seems to burn about 60% over 24 hours of moderate use.
The biggest clue that nothing had been done to ‘renew’ this device was its cleanliness. That may sound petty, but it arrived in a disgusting state. Thick, congealed dirt in every crevice that took a thorough scrubbing with some cotton buds to clean off. It was in every groove and deep in the strap slots, with obvious thumb prints and marks over the screen and back. I cleaned it all off and, luckily, there’s no obvious damage. Some light marks of wear, but overall it looks like the previous owner took reasonable care of it.
If it hasn’t been updated or even wiped down, I don’t see how they can call it ‘renewed’. I honestly feel lucky that it’s in good condition and functions fine, as all indications are that the watches are simply picked up, thrown in a box and sent back out again.
