This toaster has made my mornings so much easier. The ability to toast four slices at once is a huge time-saver for the whole family. I really like the adjustable browning settings which give consistent results whether I want a light toast or a crispy crunch. The design looks sleek on the counter and feels sturdy too. It heats evenly across both sides thanks to the bread centering feature. The digital display is a nice bonus that shows how much time is left. Cleanup is simple with the crumb tray and cord storage. A solid choice for both style and function.

This toaster has a great sleek design that takes up the minimum amount of room. I like the long slots as we have sourdough sometimes and the slice shape doesn’t fit into most regular toasters.
But
The slots aren’t deep enough for an average slice of packaged bread (think hovis/warburtons etc) as the top 1cm doesn’t get toasted. The other thing is that the level of tasting is not even. so a piece of toast is far more toasted in some parts than others.

Doesn’t fit most bread properly, to yey and toast 4 slices, they all poke out of the top. We are yet to find the right number to use for perfect toast as ot seems fairly inconsistent and easy to burn toast if you finish one lot and put another lot in for the same amount of time (residual heat = headstart I’m guessing). Like the timer, saves guessing how long its been in for

I bough the kettle and toaster – may be I have OCD – but there is no way I could have a kettle and toaster on the countertop that don’t match !
Toaster was bought to match – simple clean controls. I love that you can set the level you want things toasted to, and you get a countdown timer to completion, so you can be ready for whatever you are toasting to pop up. Even toasting. Perfect appliance.
The kettle is excellent – stainless steel inside, so nasty taste of plastic (remember if you can taste the plastic it means the plastic molecules are in the water you are drinking!). The temperature display is way more useful than I thought it would be – shows the temperature of the water when you fill the kettle, can see it rising as it heats up – so you can judge how long you have until its ready, but if like me you are doing several things at once – boil the kettle for tea – don’t use it immediately I always used to flick it back on to re-boil … with the temperature display just a quick glance lets you know if that is necessary … if the water is at 97 really don’t need to waste energy on re-boiling for 3 degrees.
Written my review for both products together for simplicity. Highly recommend both the kettle and toaster. Well made, sleek crisp design, with useful features like the temperature and timer countdown on the toaster.

This toaster worked fine – until it didn’t. 10 months after buying it, the lever stopped working properly – it just wouldn’t stay down. Apparently this is a common fault, often caused by breadcrumbs in the mechanism – but when I opened the toaster up I didn’t find any. I gave it a thorough clean and tested again, but this didn’t help. I could see how the lever is supposed to work: when the lever is pressed down, a metal plate on the lever mechanism comes into contact with an electromagnet which holds it in place until it’s time to pop up. It seemed clear that the electromagnet was the problem – so I tested it with a small screw which I can easily pick up with a magnetised screwdriver. I held the lever down to ensure the power was on – but the magnet failed. Dirt cheap component, I presume. I won’t be buying from this brand again.

bought this in 2022 so for 3 years it has served me well , it looks modern and like the controls on the front , i think its very resonably priced , and will fit in everything i have tried , if there is one very small negetive its the top plate stainless steel , its not the highest grade and marks and have to scrub for them to come off , maybe 2 or 3 times a year i go to town on it . would pay more for a higher finish to that to plate , would definitely recommend though …………………
