Great laptop and does run some really big games. I’m playing Baldurs gate 3 at the moment. Runs perfect!
Only issue I have is the Wi-Fi adapter is terrible. It disconnects all the time. So I invested in a upgraded AX210 adapter that was super easy to install and wasn’t expensive at all (£22)
I also upgraded the RAM as 8gb is pretty naff, so got another 8gb and now run 16gb of RAM and that’s plenty. Also a cheap investment.
Would recommend to anyone who wants a decent cheap gaming laptop. But you might want to do a couple cheap upgrades.

This is my first gaming laptop. And for an entry-level gamer, I am happy with the purchase.
It looks cool, and for me, the a single-zone RGB keyboard with no external RGB elements is actually a feature. This way it actually looks stealthy and way more premium for its price point, without appearing out of place in professional settings.
Given its price and specs, the laptop delivers decent performance too.
I was able to upgrade my RAM and SSD, but had to use good quality tools and be delicate with the back lid locks.
Just one thing: The screen has high refresh rate, fine for gaming, but for colour accuracy I’d recommend an external monitor.

This laptop has been great. It has run games like Baldur’s gate 3 perfectly.
My cat knocked it off my kitchen unit onto the floor, making a huge bang but it was very sturdy and you would not have known.
Would recommend.

To summarize: an excelent laptop with few minor flaws, definitely worth a buy for this price. Best to use external keyboard and headset while gaming.
When it arrived, i was immediately impressed with construction, this thing is sturdy and very well built. Performance-wise it runs like a butter, runs games on high and medium graphics without issues, achieves 144 fps with no bother. Screen has really good colors. It comes with few pre-installed softwares, namely armoury that’s a fancy version of resource monitor which is pretty handy. Performance is an A+ in my book.
Now, im sure you want to see the negatives when considering buying this laptop:
First: the fans do get a little loud while playing, for me not an issue since i use headphones, but its definitely noticeable. Also, if you use mouse with your right hand like me, the ventilation blows the hot air directly on it if your hand is too close to the laptops right side.
Second(and last): the keyboard keys need to be pressed hard. Not an issue with writing, but while gaming you need to keep tight tension on keys else it starts jittering between pressed and not pressed state. Not ideal for racing games/shooters if you are used to mechanical keyboards where the key detection is done in much better manner.

I bought this to use as an alternative to my high end gaming PC. It runs every modern game I’ve played just as well as my £1500+ PC if not better. Its fast when browsing and with the RAM and SSD upgrade is really good value for money. A lot of people moan about the fans but if you have headphones on or even the volume on slightly you don’t really notice it. Its not obnoxious as some people make out. Overall brilliant value for money.

Can’t play any games on it. NOT EVEN TRAIN SIMULATOR CLASSIC! which is a game that has been out since 2009. Once I’ve launched the game I cannot get any more than 5 fps. 7 months after purchase the screen has stayed black the whole time and doesn’t work anymore.

Picked up the i5 model for about £650, plays Fallout 4 with over a hundred mods – so doing what I want from it. Great value for money and much more portable than a desktop, which is handy for a student as we have to move digs a lot. Negs: gets hot and you’ll want to order another RAM card when you buy – fitting is simply slotting in the back, only takes a minute watch a youtube; battery not great; more USB would be nice. Overall, great budget laptop, minor faults, easily the best you can buy in this budget range (and worth more if you compare similar stats from other more expensive laptops).

Love this laptop. It’s pretty much silent running office type applications, fans do kick in for use such as gaming but they are still pretty quiet.
The built in software is great for customising how you want it to run. So you can customise power usage if you are just on battery etc.
It’s light. Loads quickly and the keyboard lights look good. You can turn them off though or choose the colours if you wish.
