    Have had to return for a refund. One side was great, comfortable and firm, the other side….mmmm…sit on it then stand up all you can hear is the springs creaking, you can walk away to the other side of the bed and the mattress is still recovering and creaking, also the side with the noise was not as firm or comfortable as the other side…

    Once relieved of the packaging this mattress burst into life. I didn’t notice any unpleasant smells or fumes and I’m asthmatic so that was a relief. Be warned this weighs heavy, even in the package and you might need help getting it upstairs and onto a bed frame.
    It appears well made, tight stitching and a nice cover. It’s lovely and deep too. A fat mattress one might say. I placed it on the bed, which is under the sash window, which I opened, and left it for about 40 hours to settle.
    The first few nights it felt hard and unforgiving but now it’s conformed and it’s lovely. Firm enough for support, soft enough for comfort
    I bought a mattress from amazon last year, a lovely mattress, only to find it was European size, too short in length and width despite being advertised as single bed size. What a waste of my pension money Boy, was I mad! How in the hell does one return a mattress? So you can imagine I was apprehensive about ordering another. No worries with this one. I am happy with it.
