I used this carrier with my newborn, and it’s been amazing! The lightweight, breathable mesh fabric kept both of us cool, and the lumbar support made it comfortable for me. The removable drool bib is a great feature, and the bonus teether is a nice touch. It’s perfect for daily use and growing with my baby!

Sometimes your baby wants you to hold him but you have things to do or you want to go out but not have to deal with the stroller. I am that way so I decided to get this Nuby Deluxe Baby Carrier for my wife and I to use to carry our 9 month old son. The baby carrier is made well with a soft mesh material inside and a more wet friendly outside similar to a windbreaker maybe. It is rated for babies weighing 7.7lbs to 32.8lbs which is a wide range being it could last a really long time from birth. It also came with a cute banana teething toy which is a nice touch. The only downside is it is likely to get messy from baby and it lists it as hand wash only. If you’re anything like us, we usually don’t have time to be hand washing anything haha.
Adjustment took about 5 minutes to have the baby all set and then from there it isn’t too difficult for my wife or me to adjust it for us from the other. You can have the bib on or off and face your baby inward or outward. The straps are comfortable and don’t hurt after using for long periods of time but I imagine the heavier he gets, the more pressure you will feel on your shoulders. The pocket on the side is helpful stashing a small snack or pacifier but I wouldn’t put your phone in there like the product page has. My kid would instantly grab that out or swat it to floor haha.
The material is said to be breathable but having a warm body and layers of anything on you when you’re out in the summer heat or even not is still going to make you likely feel hot and sweat in the front. I like to use this for short trips, cleaning like vacuuming and other chores around the house. It lets him explore but in a way you don’t have to worry about since they are right there with you. Overall, I am impressed that Nuby came out with such a good baby carrier for a really affordable price and happy with it so far.
