    i had a bamix before and used it fior 18 years when it gave up the ghost the replacement is better and mor piwerful great for sauces chopping and whisking

    I was so looking forward to using my new Bamix. I planned to make my favorite dessert requiring lots of aerating and whipping , had all the ingredients laid out only to find that my Baxmix (bought on Amazon Australia) has an English power plug – so is of no use at all. I do not really want to use an adapter every time I use my favorite kitchen appliance. I’ve already chopped up most of the box and ordered and received extra blades. So now what?

    I wanted one with completely removable blades for thorough cleansing . This one the shaft and cup end can’t be detached or cleaned well. Only the tiny blade part is removable .
    Also the whole thing is very heavy and cumbersome and top heavy . Will be a pain to use. For this kind of money I wanted a perfect blender . The search continues.

    I’ve wanted a Bamix for a while now

    Bamix do quite a few different models of the ‘Bamix’. Sometimes they are the same product but just with more or less accessories

    I actually purchased this Bamix Prime which is rated at 250w. I didn’t need all the extra additional items like the stand etc so went for the one that had loads of power instead

    The Bamix range is basically the following, in order of power:

    Classic 140w. Max 12,000 rpm
    Bamix One 160w. Max 16,000 rpm
    DeLuxe 200w. Max 17,000 rpm
    SwissLine 200w. Max 17,000 rpm
    SuperBox 200w. Max 17,000 rpm
    Gastro 200w. Max 17,000 rpm
    Prime 250w. Max 19,000 rpm
    Maxx 350w. Max 22,000 rpm

    Don’t think this is any ordinary stick blender. It’s incredibly powerful, even the ‘Classic’ (140w) or the ‘One’ (160w) will completely blitz (literally) any other stick blender you’ve ever used

    I’m absolutely sure that whatever Bamix you choose you will be delighted with it

    I’ve been making my own vegan/vegetarian paté using the Bamix; mushrooms, chickpeas, carrots, potatoes, onions and spices. It’s blitzed in seconds using my Bamix

    I know the Bamix seems rather expensive compared to other stick blenders but it’s in another league. And it’s made in Switzerland!!

    Just buy whichever model you prefer. You absolutely cannot go wrong
