This coffee maker serves it’s purpose for me as a multi functional machine that doesn’t take a lot of space which I have put in my office.
This coffee machine is fairly narrow and so it tucks away in a relatively small space yet the water reservoir can hold 800 mL so it does not need to be refilled frequently. In my experience, it holds more water for size compared to other mini-brewers.
The real attraction for me was the fact that this can brew from grounds or any type of pod! That makes it so versatile, because I can make whatever brand/type of coffee pod I fancy. This feature works by having four different trays that pop into the machine to fit each pod type. Slight downside to this is that you have to store the excess trays, but they’re not massive. I also went ahead and made labels for each of the trays because they don’t have any markings to differentiate them. While the shape of the holder for the pods berries, I can’t really tell them apart easily, so the labels help.
I would call this a space saving model, because it is very narrow. It barely fits my favourite coffee mug, but if I do not put the cup holder into the slot, and just keep my mug on the table, it can accommodate a very tall mug.
Once you read the instructions, this is fairly easy to operate. I didn’t find this entirely intuitive, for example, to turn it on you need to do a long press for two full seconds. At first, I wondered what I was doing wrong, just turned out I wasn’t holding it down, long enough. It has all kinds of Settings, and you can make coffee any temperature you like, which is really nice, and you can bury the quantity. I typically only make coffee, so I’m not knowledgable about quantities for things like espresso or latte, but for a plain old cup of coffee, it’s really nice to be able to customize the temperature and size.
The outside of the unit is made of plastic, and the design on it is painted on. This is definitely a statement look, but since my office is mid century modern, the beautiful, bright orange works really well in that space.
The mechanics of this seem to work well, and it comes with a grounded plug that fits into a standard AC outlet. I’m really happy with the way it is performing.
Overall, I’m really happy with this coffee maker, and it is perfect for my office because it is nice and small. As I said, I love the flexibility of being able to make any type of coffee pod. Not just a K cup.

Das Gehäuse der Maschine ist aus Kunststoff und hat einen eckigen Industriemaschinen-Look, der durch die orangene Farbe und die grosse aufgedruckte Nummer (es gibt nur Nummer 01) betont wird.
Die Aufstellfläche mit Metallgitter für die Tasse kann leicht entfernt und gesäubert werden. Der 800ml-Wassertank hinten kann zum Auffüllen abgenommen werden. Ausserdem kann man auch die Klappe über dem Tank abnehmen um Wasser im Betrieb nachzufüllen.
Das Touch-Bedienpanel vorne zeigt die Wassertemperatur an (standardmässig 95°C, einstellbar zwischen 70° und 95°). Man kann diese Tassengrössen auswählen: Espresso 40ml, Doppelter Espresso 100ml, Americano 200ml, Teewasser 200ml. Das Gerät wird durch Halten des Power-Knopfes ein/ausgeschaltet und schaltet sich automatisch 10 Minuten nach der letzten Aktion aus.
Etwas unpraktisch an der Bedienung ist, dass man die Einschalttaste ohne Beleuchtung nicht gut erkennt und man mit der Wahl der Tassengrösse warten muss, bis die Temperatur erreicht ist. Das dauert ca 15 Sekunden. Es wäre besser wenn man das gleich machen könnte.
Das Besondere an der Maschine ist, dass sie mit 4 wechselbaren Einschüben Kaffeekapseln der Fabrikate KCup, Nespresso, Dolce Gusto unterstützt sowie gemahlenen Kaffee. Ich habe bisher Dolce Gusto und Nespresso Kapseln getestet.
Die Einschübe waren vom Hersteller mit einem Transportetikett gekennzeichnet, die man entfernen muss. Danach sieht man nicht mehr, für welche Kapseln sie gedacht sind. Ich habe daher selbst Etiketten gedruckt und draufgeklebt.
Die Einschübe lassen sich mit einer Hand einstecken und rausziehen. Zum Einlegen und Herausnehmen der Kapseln braucht man aber unbedingt zwei Hände, denn man muss eine gefederte Verriegelung zur Seite ziehen, bevor man den Deckel des Kapselbehälters öffnen kann. Dabei ist bei meinem Einschub für gemahlenen Kaffee ein recht hoher Kraftaufwand nötig.
Wegen dieser Einsschübe muss die Kapsel nach jeder Tasse manuell entfernt werden, nicht so wie bei anderen Maschinen dieser Preisklasse (für nur einen Typ Kapseln), bei denen die Kapseln nach dem Brühen automatisch in einen Auffangbehälter fallen. Das sollte man bedenken, bevor man sich für diese Maschine entscheidet. Sie ist sehr flexibel, aber nicht unbedingt komfortabel.
Das Kaffeekochen mit Dolce Gusto und Nespresso Kapseln und grossen Tassen ging problemlos und schnell. Gelegentlich ist etwas Wasser an den Seiten des Einschubs herausgelaufen. Ich konnte nicht herausfinden, woran das lag.
Als Zubehör liegt ein Dosierlöffel und Stampfer für gemahlenen Kaffee sowie eine Reinigungsbürste bei. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist klar und ausführlich, auf Deutsch.
Ich kann die Maschine empfehlen, wenn Flexibilität bei den Kapseln gewünscht wird.

This machine from BENFUCHEN arrives in a very professional looking packaging that’s very nicely thought out with plenty of protective foam to keep things from getting bounced around or damaged and it did the job perfectly well.
Everything is generally well made on the machine, the adapter inserts and the provided accessories, nothing sticks out and under-built and the surface finish is surprisingly good for what appears to be a sprayed paint. The colour is a punchy and bright orange with a subtle metallic flake in it, which means it’ll certainly stand out in most kitchens. I’m a sucker for orange in general though, so even if it doesn’t necessarily fit into the environment, I still think it looks fantastic. The machine has a very self-explanatory control scheme that’s made up of seven touch-sensitive buttons for adjusting the temperature and choosing the type/size of coffee you’re making. All the buttons respond quickly to the touch, so the user-experience is frustration free when it comes to actually operating the coffee machine.
Obviously, the big benefit with this machine is the fact that you don’t need to choose just one major system of coffee pod, so you can pick and choose your favourite blends from many of the first and third party pod companies out there. It doesn’t cover every single pod system but it hits three of the big ones that you’d see day to day in supermarkets and/or readily available online. I can only hope that they create and sell more pod adapters down the line to expand the compatible pods but I wouldn’t buy this machine with that expectation in mind. It’s probably safer to assume you’ll only be able to do Nespresso originals, K-cups and Dolce Gusto pods in this. Of course, you’ve also got the ground filter basket as a fallback for non-pod use but I suspect the vast majority of people looking at this machine are going to be using it for pods.
My major complaint about this machine is the utter lack of adjustability or customisation when it comes to the quantity of water used, four presets just aren’t enough, even for premade coffee pods, where 5-10ml can be the difference between a decent cup of coffee and an under extracted or over extracted pod. Even with a few weeks of use there have been a few varieties of my favourite pods that have fallen outside the lowest water setting on this machine. For example the Starbucks Espresso blend, which suggests a 25-40ml shot size, and while you can technically cut the brew short by tapping the button again, doing a reliable short shot is going to be nigh impossible with this machine.
Complaints with the fixed water quantity aside, I’ve had no drama or problems using all three of the pod types with this machine and it’s produced drinkable cups with pods that actually have manufacturer brew guidelines that fall within the four 50-200ml water settings. If your preferred pods aren’t too temperamental when it comes to the water quantity, then the machine works great, but depending on your tastes and/or pod choice it may struggle.
The only other nitpick I’ve got is with the adapters, they arrived labelled which is fantastic, but as soon as you’ve removed the protective clear plastic there isn’t any markings or labels on them. So you’ll have to learn to differentiate them by how they look and it’s actually quite hard to tell them apart without physically opening them to look at the inside. I’ve just marked them with a coloured paint pen to help me figure out which is which, but I can’t help but wish they were manufactured with a marking or name on them.
On the whole, this is a great little machine assuming you’re not looking for a pod machine with a milk-frothing function. It’s a good-looking and nicely built coffee maker and if you’re using pods that specifically fall into the preset water quantities of 50ml, 100ml and 200ml it’d be a fantastic addition to your worktop. It also doesn’t hurt that it doubles up as a hot water dispenser if you leave the adapter slot empty. The current price of £108.29 after applying the 5% off voucher makes this well priced relative to other multi-pod compatible coffee makers and as long as you’re alright with the water quantity limits then it’s a solid option.

Starts off slow – takes a few coffees to get bedded in and then is brilliant! For about a five weeks!!!!! (Notice that it failed just outside the return period??) Get used to mopping up leaks, misfiring adaptors spraying coffee everywhere and general frustrations …… Good idea, poorly executed! Cannot fault Amazon as they accepted the return and issued a full refund outside of the one month return period. Avoid – like a plague ridden, biting, orange monkey…..

Une cafetière que j’ai choisie car elle ne fait pas qu’un seul modèle de capsule mais tout les modèles ! Et ça c’est top ! Mais elle ne fait pas que ça car elle possède aussi un adaptateur pour faire soi-même le café avec du café moulu . Alors j’avoue que la notice n’est pas trop explicite ! Juste la base … Il n’est pas évident de la mettre en route car il n’est pas indiqué avec quelle adaptateur faire le démarrage car comme avec chaque cafetière il faut au démarrage laisser couler 1 voire 2 réservoir d’eau et la rien n’est expliqué et sans capsule l’eau passe à travers l’adaptateur… Donc le vendeur devrait mettre un adaptateur ou préciser ce détail car le problème se posera aussi pour le détartrage à venir …
Sinon elle fonctionne bien on peut choisir la température du café mais aussi si on souhaite un court un long ou un plus grand… Je précise aussi que le récupérateur d’eau est très petit et qu’il n’y a pas de réservoir pour récupérer les capsules vides il faut donc les jeter au fur et à mesure Elle prend aussi moins de place que ma précédente ( voir photo) ça c’est mieux dans une cuisine pour le gain de place ! 19 bar fait que le café est plus fort en goût qu’avec mon ancien modèle !

All the buttons respond quickly to the touch, so the user-experience is frustration free when it comes to actually operating the coffee machine.
Obviously, the big benefit with this machine is the fact that you don’t need to choose just one major system of coffee pod, so you can pick and choose your favourite blends from many of the first and third party pod companies out there. It doesn’t cover every single pod system but it hits three of the big ones that you’d see day to day in supermarkets and/or readily available online. I can only hope that they create and sell more pod adapters down the line to expand the compatible pods but I wouldn’t buy this machine with that expectation in mind. It’s probably safer to assume you’ll only be able to do Nespresso originals, K-cups and Dolce Gusto pods in this. Of course, you’ve also got the ground filter basket as a fallback for non-pod use but I suspect the vast majority of people looking at this machine are going to be using it for pods.
My major complaint about this machine is the utter lack of adjustability or customisation when it comes to the quantity of water used, four presets just aren’t enough, even for premade coffee pods, where 5-10ml can be the difference between a decent cup of coffee and an under extracted or over extracted pod. Even with a few weeks of use there have been a few varieties of my favourite pods that have fallen outside the lowest water setting on this machine. For example the Starbucks Espresso blend, which suggests a 25-40ml shot size, and while you can technically cut the brew short by tapping the button again, doing a reliable short shot is going to be nigh impossible with this machine.
Complaints with the fixed water quantity aside, I’ve had no drama or problems using all three of the pod types with this machine and it’s produced drinkable cups with pods that actually have manufacturer brew guidelines that fall within the four 50-200ml water settings. If your preferred pods aren’t too temperamental when it comes to the water quantity, then the machine works great, but depending on your tastes and/or pod choice it may struggle.
The only other nitpick I’ve got is with the adapters, they arrived labelled which is fantastic, but as soon as you’ve removed the protective clear plastic there isn’t any markings or labels on them. So you’ll have to learn to differentiate them by how they look and it’s actually quite hard to tell them apart without physically opening them to look at the inside. I’ve just marked them with a coloured paint pen to help me figure out which is which, but I can’t help but wish they were manufactured with a marking or name on them.
On the whole, this is a great little machine assuming you’re not looking for a pod machine with a milk-frothing function. It’s a good-looking and nicely built coffee maker and if you’re using pods that specifically fall into the preset water quantities of 50ml, 100ml and 200ml it’d be a fantastic addition to your worktop. It also doesn’t hurt that it doubles up as a hot water dispenser if you leave the adapter slot empty. The current price of £108.29 after applying the 5% off voucher makes this well priced relative to other multi-pod compatible coffee makers and as long as you’re alright with the water quantity limits then it’s a solid option.

Starts off slow – takes a few coffees to get bedded in and then is brilliant! For about a five weeks!!!!! (Notice that it failed just outside the return period??)
Get used to mopping up leaks, misfiring adaptors spraying coffee everywhere and general frustrations …… Good idea, poorly executed! Cannot fault Amazon as they accepted the return and issued a full refund outside of the one month return period.

Mais elle ne fait pas que ça car elle possède aussi un adaptateur pour faire soi-même le café avec du café moulu .

Juste la base …
Il n’est pas évident de la mettre en route car il n’est pas indiqué avec quelle adaptateur faire le démarrage car comme avec chaque cafetière il faut au démarrage laisser couler 1 voire 2 réservoir d’eau et la rien n’est expliqué et sans capsule l’eau passe à travers l’adaptateur…
Donc le vendeur devrait mettre un adaptateur ou préciser ce détail car le problème se posera aussi pour le détartrage à venir …
Sinon elle fonctionne bien on peut choisir la température du café mais aussi si on souhaite un court un long ou un plus grand…
Je précise aussi que le récupérateur d’eau est très petit et qu’il n’y a pas de réservoir pour récupérer les capsules vides il faut donc les jeter au fur et à mesure
Elle prend aussi moins de place que ma précédente ( voir photo) ça c’est mieux dans une cuisine pour le gain de place !
