The activation button is a little tricky to maintain in position for long periods of time, but overall it cuts well and it easy to use. It’s good value for money and not too heavy to hold for long periods of time. Another thing I did find a little tricky was working out how to balance it while the whole length was in use, a slightly longer protective strip to hold onto would have been useful to help with balance.

A very well built machine But it’s very top heavy. Also the reach is not 2.6 meters as described. Where the harness is connected to the pole it is just 2 meters….I honestly think that the pole could have been made lighter and it would have been balanced better. Heavily constructed but not required . I have a petrol strimmer that has much the same reach and is far lighter on top…The balance of it is more than halfway up the pole….Top section too heavy. Finally the blade is not that heavy but the mechanism for rotation the blade makes it heavy too.. Over kill in the making.

Picked up the Bluemars Heavy Duty 1100W Pole Hedge Trimmer cause my old one basically gave up halfway through the first cut this spring 😅. Wanted something with a bit more guts and man, this thing delivers.
The motor is seriously powerful — it chews through thick branches and shrubs like no problem at all. I was honestly a bit shocked the first time I used it, thought I’d have to keep going back and forth but nope, one pass and done most of the time.
The telescopic pole is great too, got right up to the top of my hedge without having to risk standing on a wobbly ladder like a dummy lol. Fully extended it’s a bit heavy though, not gonna lie. After about 20 mins my arms were definitely feeling it. If you’re planning a big job maybe take a break or you’ll be shaking like a leaf after 😂.
Adjustable head is a lifesaver — made it way easier to get the angles without twisting myself into a pretzel. The 10m cable is decent but I still needed an extension lead to reach all the way round the garden.
Blades are nice and sharp straight out of the box, sliced cleanly through everything I threw at it (up to about 20mm like they say). Didn’t jam once.
Overall, super impressed. It’s not exactly lightweight, but it’s heavy duty for a reason — it works. Would definitely recommend if you’re serious about keeping your hedges under control and not messing around with underpowered stuff anymore.

This is my first hedge trimmer, comes with all the accessories you need to tackle those overgrown bushes in your garden. Easy to put together and simple to operate. The blades manage to cut through some decent thickness branches with ease. Has an adjustable head which makes those harder to reach or top of hedges a doddle, comes with a 10m cable which is super handy.

Powerful hedge trimmer
This trimmer is great for cutting back and shaping a range of bushes and plants in the garden.
Good quality but is a bit tricky to assemble but gets easier the more you use it.
It is quite heavy so the handy strap does make it more comfortable to use for a long period of time.
Also the cable is a decent length which is very handy.
Overall this is a good garden tool and good value for money.

Serious Power, Reach & Precision – A Game-Changer for Garden Maintenance
I’ve used a few hedge trimmers over the years, but this 1100W long-reach model is in a league of its own. The motor is powerful enough to handle thick branches and dense hedges without hesitation, and the 45cm dual-action blades make clean, even cuts with less vibration.
Although it is on the heavy side and had to take several breaks even with the shoulder harness I still felt fatigue.
The telescopic pole extends up to 2.8m, which makes trimming tall hedges and hard-to-reach spots so much easier—no more ladders! The adjustable cutting head is a great touch too, letting you angle the blade exactly how you need it for top or side cuts.
The 10m cable gives decent flexibility around the garden, though I’d recommend a sturdy extension cord for larger spaces. Build quality feels solid and durable—it’s not the lightest tool, but that’s the trade-off for heavy-duty performance.
If you’ve got a big garden or overgrown hedges, this tool seriously delivers.
