Am in the process of converting all garden equipment to Bosch as the battery packs are the same for all their products. Great to have no power lead as this alone cuts down the trimmings time. This is a quality item and is highly recommended…

This is a lightweight and powerful trimmer. The 55cm blade makes trimming a hedge quicker because it cuts more in a sweep. Makes light work of shaping hedges and bushes. Slices through green twigs with ease because the blades are very sharp. I have a corded trimmer too, but a long cord is inconvenient. Watching that the cord is not in the way of the blade all the time, adds to the chore. Cordless for me from now on. I researched batteries for this product because I have many Bosch 18V pro tool batteries. An adapter is needed for the pro tool batteries to work with this range of garden tools. About AUD24 on Amazon, which is cheaper than a new 18V Power For All battery and charger. Works fine for me. A great product and recommended.

Battery life is great, the batteries down have a charge led on them so cannot say how long i could get before it dies, an annoying omission and why i’ve docked one start for this review.
Cuts my hedges far faster than my corded (Bosch) trimmer mainly because i’m not constantly try to avoid slicing the cable (many time on my corded one!)
Its light and does a fine job though I’d prefer a longer blade reach. Also it struggles with thick branches that my corded one eats for breakfast.
I’ll keep my corded one for the first cut of the year where there may be stronger growth, for the trimmings rest of the year i’ll use this battery one.

It’s a Bosch. Works perfectly of course. Well made. I didn’t get the battery with it because I already have three. Whether or not they will last long enough depends entirely how you use it.

Used this a few times now and i like it. Makes quick work of the hedges, reasonably light and easy to handle with a good reach on it. I made my purchase with no batteries to save cost as i already had 2 with my Bosch Cordless Drill and they work fine with it. I noticed when shopping for this item (if you don’t have batteries from other Bosch tools) that it is more expensive to buy the unit with a battery included them buying the unit and battery (with charger) separate. So if you are thinking about buying i advise you check if its worth buying it this way as it may save you quiet a bit of money.
