toast only gets brown on one side. several elements faulty when i started using the toaster for the first time today. as i purchased the toaster in january 2023 it is out of warranty and has to be scrapped. suprised that bosch supplies such poor product as several other reviews mention the same issue.

After 1 year and 4 months Then the one side of the right two toasters die because the UK ThIcK BREAD didn’t fit correctly so the toast fired !!! I then tried to remove the firing toasted bread. Using a bread Knife asap ! The whole ELECTRIiC BLO UP! Now I have only two toasts now as thee other side is DEAD !!!!
Another Continental toaster doesn’t do a UK Standard Real BREAD for 135mm x 90mm x. 10~30mm
Why does all toaster manufacturers use UK STANDARDS BSI ISO bread like HOVIS !!!!
IVE NOW FOUNDED A REAL UK MADE UK BREAD, now founded made by LIAM in our GREAT BRITAIN TOASTS !!!!
SO I’m throwing away a BOSCH toaster getting a real UK MANUFACTURER who sells it a Sweden company called DUALIT…. there is 2 / 3 / 4 and 6 slots for our UK standards Breads

Reading reviews of this toaster on a Good Housekeeping website, it was the best out of twelve toasters tested. However, although the control knobs go from 0 to 6, while trying to brown two slices of wholemeal bread, I had to set the controls to 6 just to get the bread medium brown. That is why I only gave it four stars. I’m a retired ex-RAF Catering Manager by the way!

This toaster produces excellent toast even from frozen. It is well made, easy to clean and takes all sizes of bread. The toaster has four slots but each side can be used separately i.e. 2 x 2. It is quite large but needs to be to take all sizes of bread.

The toaster is neat and sturdy. It toasts very quickly the only thing I would say the bottom edge of the toast doesn’t toast but other than that I like it.
