I don’t know whether this is the machine itself or the way it was installed (by the deliverers), but this machine does not work. It neither drains nor spins – I have to drain it manually, and even then (after 2 spin cycles) the washing is dripping wet. I am going to give Bosch the chance to come out and fix it, but for the price I paid I feel I should not have to.

Machine did not work after installation. Stopped halfway through the cycle and would not drain or pump out. Bosch engineer called out, couldn’t fix it. Then had the farce of trying to get a replacement….ended up getting refunded and going to AO for a different make. Terrible experience from what is supposedly a high end brand.

The machine arrived promptly and it was connected by the service employees . It look modern , very silent and washes well . I am very happy with the purchase.
Amazon Customer –
I love this machine . It takes longer than my old one did but it’s so quiet and clothes come out lovely and clean .
Legend of Booman –
I previously had a Zanussi IZ16S which had served me well for over 20 years but decided that after such a long time, surely a newer machine (especially from a respected brand like Bosch) would be more efficient and likely more effective.
So I ordered the Bosch and sold off my Zanussi.
I wish I hadn’t….
This machine is lousy. Sometimes it takes 4 or 5 presses of the start button for it to agree to start the cycle. Sometimes the washing is done, other times it comes out sopping wet!? The ECO cycle is almost 4 hours long?!?
Oh, and it only spins at 1400rpm whereas my Zanussi did a 1600rpm spin.
Newer is not always better….
