I read several reviews on various Bluetooth speakers as I am down sizing from a full sized Hi-Fi system, I was sceptical that a big sound could be achieved from such a small package but the Bose speaker that I eventually decided to purchase offers just that, the only negative comments I read were that the Bose is too bass heavy, this is not a negative for me as I like a lot of bass in all of my music regardless of genre.
The Bose is by no means a Hi Fi replacement as no portable speaker ever will be but it does offer an excellent portable sound quality, I am using it in a living room measuring 20′ x 18′ and it has more than enough power to fill a room that size without having to turn the volume beyond half way, I took on board the comments about the over shadowing low frequency from the Bose but both the laptop and mobile phone I am using have graphic equalizers within the music player so that the sound can be tailored to suit most tastes, as a bass lover I have actually had to turn the bass down using the graphic equaliser on the laptop to obtain a balanced sound through the Bose, for me this is a good thing as their is no such thing as too much bass and it means that the Bose is giving a good quality sound without pushing the drivers to the limit.
The quoted manufacturers Bluetooth range is very conservative at nine metres, I have had the Bose connected to my laptop from a range of over eighteen metres and it worked flawlessly for several hours, Bluetooth connectivity is the simplest and most straight forward of any Bluetooth device I have ever connected, within seconds both my laptop and mobile phone were connected and ready to transfer music.
As stated previously the Bose or any other portable Bluetooth speaker for that matter will never offer the same type of sound quality as a good quality full sized sound system which is what some reviewers have complained about but I have just replaced my full sized very good quality Marantz KI sig system for this tiny compact portable speaker and have no complaints at all.
A full five star rating for sound/build and ease of use.

I wanted a Bluetooth speaker which didn’t shirk on quality and did a lot of research into which one to get.
I read practically every review on the SoundLink III, good and bad, and after buying it and using it I found the ones which were slating it were really to do with it’s inefficiency to meet that particular person’s needs; and was effectively the wrong item for them to buy.
When you look at the purpose this item is trying to serve, it’s a wireless speaker to connect to multiple devices and isn’t really meant to serve as the sole source of sound for DJ-ing and won’t blow your head off if you put your ear next to it.
But if you’re having a bbq/house-party/picnic and want to sit 9 foot away with your Ipad then it’s perfect!
The main thing I wanted was a speaker which wouldn’t distort the bass when you turned it up. And with BOSE I was pretty confident this wouldn’t, and it didn’t disappoint. I had a party with about 30 people in the garden and it was more than loud enough, and if you place it in front of a wall/fence as instructed then the bass is perfect too.
It has a 9 foot radius, ability to remember 6 devices, and 14 hours of playing time on a full battery. (The battery doesn’t take long to charge either.. another bonus!) It’s pretty heavy to carry (heavier than expected) but I wouldn’t class this as a flaw personally.
I did find the Ipad battery drained a lot quicker when playing YouTube though but it’s understandable as it’s connected to both the internet and Bluetooth which would be battery intensive. Not exactly a fault of the BOSE SLIII though!
Value for money wise it’s really up to you. You get what you pay for with this though as it’s quality truely is stunning, but if your budget is a bit lower then possibly go for the Mini if you’re not fussed about the volume.
Definitely give it 5 stars and can’t find a fault with it at all.

Insomma, in sintesi, molto consigliato!!!

I bought this to use with my TV, and also for streaming via bluetooth from my Android phone. Build quality is good, battery lasts for a good while, everything works fine out the box. I connect my TV via phono, and it’s easy to switch between the auxiliary and bluetooth inputs. Speaker switches itself off after a short while if no input is detected, which is a nice touch.
So on to the sound. It’s bassy. Very bassy. I never thought the day would come when I would complain about a speaker having too much bass, but here we are. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it does mean that music sounds a bit off balance. Some people may prefer this sound, but it certainly doesn’t accurately reproduce music in my eyes (or should that be ears?). One advantage of this over the top bass is that films sound suitably weighty when I watch TV.
Apart from the aforementioned bass issue, sound is excellent. The speaker is clear and clean sounding, can pump out music LOUD, and has a surprisingly wide sound considering its size. I’d say it represents good sound for money – I’ve certainly not heard a better speaker at this size. Overall I’d recommend this speaker, with the proviso that audiophiles may well find the unbalanced sound problematic. Personally I’m very happy with it.

Great sound from a small speaker and it can get very loud.

DAS ERSTE HANDS-ON
MAKE SOME NOISE
I’ll Let You Know” gestartet.
