   I’ve had cheaper speakers, both bargain basement and “decent enough” quality (Sony). But this is another level. I bought it primarily for the multifunction button that means I can be in a different room from my phone and able to play/pause music or podcasts from the speaker. But the sound quality is incredible for such a small unit. Speech and music both sound great. I took it on holiday to a self-catering cottage, since it was easily small enough to squeeze into my luggage, and there was enough volume to listen to streaming radio in the kitchen, even with the noise of making dinner and the cooker hood running. Everyone who’s heard it has been seriously impressed. Battery life is good, I assume, because I haven’t got it past halfway yet! I wasn’t sure if I was paying a bit too much for a portable speaker, but now I’ve used it for a while I have no regrets at all.

   This was my second purchase of this product. Previous one was taken by my elder sister as she also loved it.    Soy dj en Ibiza, asi que el sonido es muy importante para mi. Tengo todo tipo de equipos en casa, entre los cuales un sound system grande de Bose, asi que aprecio mucho el sonido de esta casa. El micro link tiene toda la calidad de Bose, suena bien potente por una cajita tan pequeña! Los bombos se notan limpios y la equalizacion correcta. Es muy resistente, puede mojarse (comprobado!) y se engancha facil a la mochilla, bolso o cualquier soporte. Los comandos son esenciales. Yo lo uso en el jardin, la playa o cuando voy de excursión, viajando es lo mas! Tiene batería larga.

   I hunted around for ages for a bluetooth speaker because I felt it’s going to be one of those purchases you don’t want to repeat for a while. I *LOVE* this speaker! It connects very, very easily and after initial pairing every time you switch it on it will just automatically connect. Then, you just ‘play’ from whatever you’ve connected to (eg phone, etc) and it comes out from the Bose speaker. Easily fills a room with high quality, fully rounded sound.

   Volume is easily controlled from the speaker with ‘+’/’-‘ buttons and the Power switch is also very easy. It does something that I’m very, very passionate about in design and engineering … IT ‘JUST WORKS’, BRILLIANTLY! #bravoBose. A single charge lasts for absolutely ages, but it also recharges very quickly.

   I also bought the additional case to protect it particularly for travel (not made by Bose, but fits it perfectly and is also high quality and very sturdy). I use this a lot, particularly listening to Audible books while I’m doing housework! *L-o-v-e it* … and thank you Bose for making something that ‘just works’.

   The sound quality and battery life can’t be beat with this little speaker and it is far better than any other speakers in this size I have had. I have owned many of these over the years and usually loose them but I always buy another one. My only disappointment is that this particular one is a micro usb charge port when others I have recently owned were type c usb. Not sure if this particular one was older stock and that’s why it is a micro USB charge port which is basically obsolete technology. That’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars.

   Bought this for wifey for when showering, so her iPhone can be left outside the en suite to avoid wetting the cell. I’ve already nicked it for bike rides and walking as it straps to handle bars or slips into pocket well nicely. Volume is perfect with no obvious distortion, Bose make sound, sound believable. Always reliable kit. Case is rubbery so can withstand knocks or drops. A great purchase wifey loves singing along to Britney in the shower. Achieves a robust Bluetooth connection to Android or Apple kit, no dropouts.

    Amazing sounds, no distortion on full volume. Small compact and reasonable weight. Apparently is water resistant which is a bonus. Have taken into the bathroom too! . I downloaded the app and can link other Bose speakers so can listen all around my house and garden. Definitely recommend.
