Pros:
Feels solid and really well made
Very quiet in use compared to others I’ve tried
Handles whole fruit easily thanks to the wide feed chute
Produces a lot of juice with very dry pulp
Dishwasher safe parts make cleaning a bit easier
Good design with waste neatly ejected as you go
Cons:
Still a bit of effort to clean fully despite dishwasher safe parts
Verdict:
I used this to make fresh apple and orange juice and it handled everything smoothly with barely any waste. It’s straightforward to operate and while cleaning takes a bit of time the dishwasher safe parts help. The build quality really stands out and I found it a lot quieter than other juicers I’ve owned. It also looks amazing in my kitchen. Really stylish and premium. It’s actually become a bit of a talking point when people visit. If I had more space I’d leave it out on display all the time. For anyone who enjoys fresh juice and wants something that looks as good as it performs this is a fantastic choice.

I have been looking for a quality juicer for a long time and decided to try this product, it did not disappoint. My favorite feature is the 7.5 cm wide feed chamber. I no longer have to cut apples and small oranges, which significantly shortens the preparation time in the morning. Cold press technology really makes a difference. Compared to my old juicer, I get much more juice and the pulp is almost completely dry. The use of safe materials really puts my mind at ease. I use low speed for soft fruits and high speed for hard vegetables like carrots. In conclusion, Fretta is an excellent choice for those who care about healthy eating and are looking for a quality slow juicer.

The Fretta juicer is amazing! The wide 75mm dual feed chute makes juicing fruits and veggies so quick and easy no need to chop everything into tiny pieces.
I love the 2-speed modes and automatic reverse function, which help prevent clogging and get the most juice out of everything. Cleanup is surprisingly simple thanks to the self-feeding design and detachable parts made from durable Tritan and stainless steel.

Yep brilliant but you do have to cut up apples as too big and anything with a thick skin ie oranges lemons ect you have to cut off as it blocks the filter but apart from that it does as it should

This juicer is large and therefore takes up a LOT of counter space in the kitchen. It is therefore suited for larger kitchens in which a dedicated juicing station can be maintained, or kitchens with cupboard space in which to house it.
For such a large unit, it is impressively quiet in operation, regardless of whether HARD or SOFT is selected. It does not wobble at all. It ingested hard and soft fruits and vegetables and created interesting flavours from all the combinations I threw at it. There was much juice from each combo, but not much in the way of released pulp, which I found odd, until I realised that the bulk of the “waste” was actually stuck in various nooks and crannies in the machine. Not only that, but one had to continously poke down barely crushed bits of fruits and vegetables which kept being pushed up the sides of the insertion barrel during operation. The juices were not “smooth” – there was a fair amount of mouth feel, meaning that the juices would have benefitted from being strained afterwards, despite there being a strainer in the machine.
The operating instructions were clear enough, the dismantling instructions less so. However, with a bit of trial and error, I managed it. The unit has to be thoroughly dismantled in order to clean out all the bits of fruits and vegetables which will remain inside after each juicing. This is NOT a machine which should be cleaned after each juicing, for the simple reason that the machine requires several bits to be removed and cleaned. A couple can simply be rinsed, the big barrel must be shaken with lots of water and stuck bits prised out. The others need to be brushed strenuously and even that might not be enough. It takes the joy out of the juicing, especially when you remember that you need to put the thing back together. The “self-cleaning” function has therefore not made itself evident so far, and the auto-reverse worked once by accident – though the presence of a reverse button would seem to speak against the “auto” function.
It gets the extra star for the quietness of the machine and the efficient way in which it processes the juice. I just wish that more than a tablespoon of pulp ended up in that large cup, instead of the bulk of it remaining in the machine.

This is a bit of a failure for me as a hopeful juice maker in waiting, firstly its big which in a small kitchen is not ideal, secondly the extraction of juice is very hit and miss, I’d say its only about 80% successful and that is not good enough for a juicer, the biggest absolute problem with it is that it is significantly louder than even my blenders and they are pretty noisy.
For the price I’m just not as impressed as I should be, It’s not the most expensive I’ve seen but it is also not one of the budget options but to me it performs like it is one of the budget models, being easy to clean is not really enough to justify it existing in my kitchen so I’ll be passing him forward to be honest.

I’ve only had 2 juicers before and both were so bad I thought they’d put me off juicers for good. But this one actually works well. There is obviously some moisture in the remaining pulp but nothing close to what I’ve had before. It’s also easier to clean, with mostly larger parts, though obviously the metal filter is still fiddly but I’ve had them where the whole thing is like that, and it’s a fairly small section of this one. It’s also not as big or as loud as previous ones. I’m not sure what else you can get for the money but this seems well made and is easy to use.
