One would think the way this item is packed, that you would just open it, and presto! You now have a table. Like the chairs that came with this set, some assembly is required ( with enclosed screws ) After a slight fumbling around, it is a pretty good table. Still, the way the chairs ( separate ) and table is packed, this ” assembly ” process seems quite un-necessary.

Great quality for the money compared to some much more expensive similar ones. A good size for drinks etc next to the sun lounger. It also stands upright when folded, and can be easily stored, hung on a garage/shed wall.

Got this on a reduced price so good value. Slightly tricky to assemble. Not sure why self assembly was necessary given the folding nature of the item. I note other reviewers have also mentioned this. Easier to assemble with two as folding mechanism is tight. This means the table is sturdy but needs a bit of a push to fold it. Haven’t had it long so can’t comment on durability. Overall happy with the purchase.

I enjoyed assembling this table myself, and as it came to shape I became more impressed by the design and the quality of the wood. The clever way it can be collapsed and stored aside when not in use is an additional attraction. It is a most delightful outdoor table that looks good in the house too. Well done Charles Bentley.
